- The William & Mary women's basketball team, which is won nine of its last 10 games, looks to make it three in a row as it opens CAA play at home by hosting Towson. on Friday, Jan. 7.
- For the second time in three seasons and just the fourth time in program history, W&M is 2-0 to start league play. The Tribe has only started league play 3-0 one other time in program history, which happened in 2008-09.
- Senior
Abby Rendle was named the CAA Player of the Week for the third time this season, which is tied for the most player of the weeks in the league. Previously Rendle was named the league's player of the week for the weeks of Nov. 27 and Dec. 18. Rendle and freshman
Nyla Pollard, who has been named Rookie of the Week twice, have combined for all five of the Tribe's weekly awards.
-The Tribe has shot, at least, 45-percent in eight of its 13 games, including accomplishing the feat in six of the last eight games. Furthermore, W&M has shot 50-percent, or better, in three games. For the season, the Green and Gold leads the CAA and ranks 22nd in the country at 46.6-percent.
- W&M has scored 70, or more points, in 10 of its 13 games this season and is averaging 74.7 points per game. The Tribe has only averaged more than 70 points in a season twice in program history, and the 74.7 would be a school record if the season ended today. W&M's scoring offense is second in the CAA and 57th in the country.
- After losing its top two scorers from last season, W&M has put, at least, three players in double-figures in all 13 games this season. Seniors

Abby Rendle as well as junior
Bianca Boggs lead the team with 11 double-digit performances. Sophomores
Victoria Reynolds (seven times) and
Nari Garner (three times) have also scored in double-figures, in at least one game, this season.
- Not only is senior
Jenna Green scoring at a higher rate this season, but she is also finding her teammates at a higher clip. The Clifton, Virginia native has been in double-figures in 11 games and is averaging 12.1 points per game. She has added 87 assists, which is good for 15th in the country, while her 6.7 apg. rank her 13th. Green, who is just 63 assists away from breaking the school record, has 441 that rank her 14th among active players in the country.
- W&M's and the CAA's new all-time blocks leader senior
Abby Rendle broke the school record with her 256th career block in the game against Davidson, and then topped the league's record with her 274th career block versus ODU. Rendle is the nation's top shot blocker and is leading the country with 61 blocks and 4.7 bpg. Her 283 career blocks are also the third-most active blocks in the country. Not only has her shot blocking been impressive, but she is also getting it done offensively. In games she has played more than 10 minutes, she is averaging 16.9 ppg., 9.3 rpg., and 5.5 bpg. She has also been in double-figures in all 11 of those contests.
- Junior
Bianca Boggs has had a strong start to the season. She has been the team's leading scorer five times, and recorded the most points in a game by a CAA player this season when she scored a career-high 33 points at St. Francis (Pa.) on Dec. 2. For the year she is averaging a team-high 16.0 points per game, which is third in the CAA, to go along with 4.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists.
- For the past four seasons, W&M has led the CAA in steals each year. So far this season, the Tribe is doing the same. W&M has 143 thefts, which is second in the CAA and ranks 44th nationally. The Tribe's 11.0 spg. are first in the CAA and 36th in the NCAA.
