- W&M leads the all-time series with Towson at 17-16, including a 10-5 advantage in Williamsburg. The Tigers have won the last three in the series, including an 82-80 victory in Maryland on Feb. 4.

Michael Schlotman. The group is the winningest in Tribe history with 75 career victories and owns the most CAA wins in program lore with 42.
- The senior duo of
Omar Prewitt (1782) and
Daniel Dixon (1293) are just the second pair of W&M teammates to combine for 3,000 career points. Dixon (19.0) and Prewitt (15.6) are averaging 34.6 points per game together this season.
- The Tribe has scored 80 or more points in nine of its last 10 games and 16 contests overall in 2016-17. W&M is on pace to set a school record for scoring average at 81.6 per game, which ranks 24th nationally. The Tribe is averaging 86.9 per contest over the last 10.
- W&M dished out 20 or more assists six times in the last 10 games and on 10 occasions overall in 2016-17. The Tribe ranks sixth nationally at 17.7 assists per game. The Green and Gold is closing in on a team milestone and is only four assists away from 500 on the year. With 12 assists vs. Towson, W&M would establish a new school record for assists in a season.
- The Tribe has shot 50 percent or better in 11 of the last 16 games. W&M leads the CAA and ranks 13th nationally in field goal percentage (49.0).
Scouting Towson
- Towson enters Saturday at 19-11 overall and 11-6 in the CAA. The Tigers have already clinched the No. 3 spot in the CAA Tournament. After dropping their first four CAA games, the Tigers have won 11 of their last 13. Towson is coming off an 83-78 setback at UNCW on Thursday night.
- TU is the top rebounding team in the CAA, averaging 39.7 per game and outrebounding opponents by eight per contest. They rank sixth nationally in rebounding margin and 22nd in overall rebounds. Towson is also 13th in the country in offensive rebounds per game (13.5) and 12th in offensive rebounding percentage.
- Offensively, Towson is averaging 74.2 points per game, while shooting 44.8 percent from the field. TU ranks 15th nationally, scoring 57.6 percent of its points from two-point range. The Tigers use the free throw line to their advantage as well. Nearly a quarter of Towson's offense comes at the free throw line, which is 15th in the country. They are seventh nationally according to KenPom.com at getting to the free throw line as well.
- The Tigers rank second in the CAA in both scoring defense (69.4) and defensive field goal percentage (41.8 percent). According to KenPom.com, TU is second in the CAA in defensive efficiency (101.6).
- A quartet of Tigers average in double figures led by junior Mike Morsell at 14.2 points per game. He hit the game-winning three-pointer vs. the Tribe with seven seconds remaining in the early meeting. Senior William Adala Moto ranks 21st in the CAA in scoring (12.7) and eighth in rebounding (6.7), while Deshaun Morman is 29th in the CAA 10.1 points per game to go along with ranking third at 1.5 steals per game. Towson will play without senior John Davis, who was averaging 11.8 points and a team-best 7.6 rebounds per game, as he has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
- W&M leads the all-time series with Towson at 17-16, including a 10-5 advantage at home. Last season, TU swept the season series, winning in Williamsburg, 76-69, and in Towson, 99-82. The Tribe swept the season series in 2015 and won two of three meetings in 2014. Earlier this season, TU rallied from a 17-point second-half deficit to down W&M, 82-80, in Maryland.
Senior Day
Saturday marks Senior Day as W&M honors its senior class of Porter Reinhart (manager),
Daniel Dixon,
Omar Prewitt and
Michael Schlotman. The group is the winningest class in program history (75) and owns the most CAA wins (42) in W&M lore. The Green and Gold owns three-straight 20-win seasons and a CAA regular season title in 2015 during their careers.
Senior Manager Porter Reinhart
Porter Reinhardt spent this season with the basketball program as a student manager after competing his first three years as a member of the Tribe baseball team. During his time with the program, he has handled a wide variety of tasks, including advanced statistical work and organization of Tribe road trips. A kinesiology major with a minor in history, he will graduate from W&M with his degree in May.
Senior Guard Daniel Dixon
A three-year starter, Dixon is one of the top scorers in the CAA, averaging nearly 23 points per game in league play. His 1293 career points rank 18th in program history. Twice this season, Daniel was named the CAA Player of the Week, including after scoring a career-high 36 points in the Tribe's win at Old Dominion in December. He ranks third in Tribe history with 238 career three-pointers and sixth in three-point percentage. A finance major, Daniel will earn his degree from W&M in May.
Senior Wing Omar Prewitt
A two-time All-CAA selection and the league's rookie of the year in 2014, Prewitt ranks among the top 15 in W&M history in 10 different career categories. His 1782 career points are sixth in Tribe lore. Earlier this season, Prewitt was named one of 30 national candidates for the prestigious Senior CLASS Award. He was named the CAA Player of the Week on Feb. 13 after scoring a season-high 30 points in the Gold Rush win over Charleston. A kinesiology major, Omar will earn his degree from the College in May.
Senior guard Michael Schlotman
A two-time CAA All-Academic Team selection, Schlotman has appeared in 52 career games with one start. Earlier this season, he dished out a career-high five assists in the Tribe's win over Milligan. He was also an NABC Honors Court selection in 2016. An finance major, Michael will earn his degree from W&M in May and has already accepted a position at FBR Capital Markets & Company following graduation.
30-Point Games
- With his 32-point effort on Thursday night vs. Hofstra, senior
Daniel Dixon topped the 30-point mark for the fourth time in 2016-17. His four games of 30 or more points are tied for the CAA lead.
- Dixon is tied for second on the Tribe's single-season list of 30-point games with four. Jeff Cohen also had four 30-point games during the 1959-60 season. Only Adam Hess enjoyed more 30-point games in a single season with five in 2002-03.
- Along with his effort vs. Hofstra, Dixon tallied a career-high 36 points at Old Dominion on Dec. 29, which was a Ted Constant Center visitor's record. He poured in 32 points on Jan. 5 against Elon and then again vs. Drexel on Jan. 30. His four career 30-point games rank fifth on W&M's career list.

Omar Prewitt joined his classmate in producing 30-point games in his career. With his season-high 30 points vs. Charleston on Feb. 11, Prewitt tallied his third career 30-point game, which ranks seventh in Tribe history.
Head of the Class

Daniel Dixon,

Michael Schlotman are the winningest class in W&M history. The trio owns 75 career wins, the most for a W&M senior class since freshmen became eligible in 1972.
- Dixon, Prewitt and Schlotman also became the winningest CAA class in school history with the win over Charleston on Feb. 11. They surpassed the previous mark held by the 2016 class of
Terry Tarpey and
Sean Sheldon.
- Overall, Dixon, Prewitt and Schlotman's 75 career wins rank third all-time in program history, individually. Only Ed McMillian and Bob Benjamin won more games with the Tribe, tallying 80 from 1948-51. Prior to 1972, freshmen were granted eligibility following World War II and during the Korean War. Only nine players in W&M history played four seasons prior to freshmen being granted eligibility in 1972.
- The 42 CAA wins are the second for a Tribe class in W&M's conference history. Only McMillian and Benjamin, who won 43 games in the Southern Conference between 1948-51, have more conference wins in their four seasons.
Home Sweet Home
- The Tribe is currently 12-1 on the year at home in Kaplan Arena. Over the last three years, W&M owns an impressive 36-6 (.857) mark inside Kaplan Arena. W&M was 12-2 in 2014-15 and 12-3 last season.
- Prior to its loss vs. Hofstra on Thursday night, the Green and Gold was on a 12-game home winning streak. It was the fifth longest in program history, the second best inside Kaplan Arena and the third-best single-season streak. W&M's school-record home court winning steak is 24 games from Feb. 21, 1948 through Jan. 7, 1950.
- The Tribe's 12-game home win streak was the second longest under head coach
Tony Shaver. The Tribe won 14 consecutive home games between Feb. 17, 2014 and Feb. 11, 2015.
- This season, the Tribe averages 92.4 points per game inside Kaplan Arena, while shooting 55.1 percent from the field and 44.1 percent from 3-point range.
Prewitt Can Do it
- Senior
Omar Prewitt is one of the best multidimensional players in the country. Prewitt is one of only two Division I players nationally with career totals of 1500 points, 600 rebounds, 300 assists and 100 steals. Prewitt has 1,770 points, 612 rebounds, 306 assists and 116 steals over his four-year career. Only South Carolina's Sindarius Thornwell (1745, 626, 366, 183) can lay claim to those career milestones.
- Recently, Prewitt has been at his best. Over his last eight games, he is averaging 20 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game during the stretch. During that stretch, he turned in performances of 28 points against UNCW on Jan. 28 and a season-high 30 points vs. Charleston on Feb. 11. Prewitt dished out a career-high eight assists on Jan. 26 vs. Delaware.
- Prewitt is currently the only player in the CAA to rank among the top 12 in the league in points, rebounds and assists per game. He is eighth in the league at 15.6 points per game, ninth in assists (3.1), while coming in 11th in rebounding (6.0). In CAA play, he is among the top 10 in all three categories.
- The ability to fill the stat sheet is nothing new to Prewitt, who ranks among the Tribe's career leaders in a number of categories. He is sixth in W&M history at 1,782 career points, which is the top active number in the CAA and 20th nationally among current Division I players. He is sixth on the Tribe's career list and 30 away from the top five. Prewitt also ranks 11th in W&M annals in blocked shots (73) and assists (309), 15th in steals (117) and 16th in rebounding (617).
- Prewitt became only the second player in W&M history, along with John Lowenhaupt (1975-78), to tally 1,500 points, 600 rebounds and 300 assists over his career.
