WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Winners of five in a row, the William & Mary men's basketball team wraps up a three-game road trip at Ohio State on Saturday afternoon. The Tribe's first meeting with a Big Ten foe since 2012-13 is set for a noon tip from Value City Arena at The Jerome Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio.

The game will be broadcast online on Big Ten Network Plus at a cost of $9.95 for a month pass. Tribe fans can catch the men's basketball action over the Tribe Radio Network with Jay Colley and Charlie Woollum on the call. W&M News and Notes
- The Tribe faces a Big Ten opponent for the first time since the 2012-13 season when it dropped a 77-69 decision at Purdue, despite leading by one at the half. Ohio State is the fifth Big Ten foe W&M has faced and the third under head coach Tony Shaver. The Green and Gold will look for its first Big Ten win since downing Northwestern, 77-69, in 1992.
 
- The Tribe offense is among the best in the country, averaging 86.8 points per game. Along with ranking 27th nationally in scoring, W&M is second in 3-point percentage (47.3), fifth in free throw percentage (80.9), 20th in field goal percentage (50.8) and 23rd in assists (18.3).
 
- The Green and Gold is the only team in the country to rank among the top 25 nationally in field goal, free throw and 3-point percentage. W&M is one of only three teams currently shooting 50 percent from the field, 40 percent from 3-point range and 75 percent at the free throw line. The other two are Villanova and Georgetown.
 
- Sophomore Nathan Knight has been the Tribe's top offensive threat, ranking third in the CAA and 42nd nationally at 20.3 points per game. He has produced two 30-point, 10-rebound double-doubles in 2017-18. Over the last three games, Knight is averaging a double-double at 25.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game, while shooting 65.2 percent (30-of-46) from the field. He also ranks 14th nationally at 3.1 blocks per game and free throws made (52).
 
- The Tribe overcame a 16-point first-half deficit in the win at George Mason and trailed by 12 with 11:36 remaining. W&M used a 10-0 run over the final three minutes to pull out the win. It marked the 23rd double-digit comeback under head coach Tony Shaver and the seventh on the road. The 16-point comeback equaled the largest on the road under Shaver and was the third largest overall.
 
- W&M is riding a five-game winning streak, the 40th such streak in program history. It is the 14th streak of five or more games since 1970. The current win streak is the fourth-longest under head coach Tony Shaver. W&M tallied a school-record 10-game win streak under Shaver during the 2009-10 season.
 
- During its five-game winning streak, W&M is averaging 96.2 points per game, while shooting 57 percent from the floor, 56.2 percent from 3-point range and 82.2 percent at the free throw line. The Tribe scored 100 points in three of the five games, including the second-best total in program history (114) vs. Marshall and the most in a road game (108) at Savannah State.
 
- Each of the last two weeks, seniors Connor Burchfield (Dec. 4) and David Cohn (No. 27) took home CAA Player of the Week honors. Burchfield averaging 28.5 points per game in Tribe wins over Marshall and Savannah State, including a W&M and CAA record 10 3-pointers on his way to a career-high 30 points vs. the Thundering Herd. Cohn turned in a career-high 25 points to go with nine assists in the win over Old Dominion to earn the distinction.
 
- W&M is one of only two teams, along with 2017 national runner-up Gonzaga, to rank among the top 30 nationally in field goal percentage each of the last six years. After ranking 10th in the country in 2016-17, the Tribe is currently 20th in the country at 50.8 percent from the floor.
 
- According to the website KenPom.com, W&M ranked among the top 25 nationally in effective field goal percentage each of the last six seasons, including 2017-18. W&M is currently eighth at 59.9 percent and finished as high as No. 6 in both 2013-14 and 2014-15.
 
- Over the last five games, senior Connor Burchfield (25-of-39) and sophomore Matt Milon (19-of-32) have combined to shoot 62 percent (44-of-71) from 3 and hitting 8.8 triples per game. On the year, Burchfield leads the CAA in 3-point percentage (54.7) and 3-pointers made (3.6), coming in seventh and 16th nationally. Milon is second in the league in both categories, ranking ninth nationally in percentage (54.0) and 25th in 3-pointers made (3.4).
 
- Over the last five games, senior David Cohn has averaged 9.6 assists per game, including a career-high 13 against Marshall. His 7.1 assists per game rank 12th nationally. Cohn has scored in double figures in three of the last four games and is averaging 15.8 points per game during that stretch.
