-  The William & Mary women's basketball team looks to make it eight in a row as it closes both a three-game homestand and non-conference play when they host Hampton Roads rival Norfolk State on Thursday, Dec. 21. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.

- Senior Abby Rendle and freshman Nyla Pollard have accounted for all four of the Tribe's weekly awards this season. The duo helped the Tribe sweep the CAA's weekly awards this week as Rendle was named the CAA Player of the Week and Pollard earned the rookie of the week nod. Rendle was also named the CAA Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 27, while Pollard has been the CAA Rookie of the Week the last two weeks.

- The Tribe has shot, at least, 45-percent in six of its 10 games, including accomplishing the feat in its last three contests, and four of the last five games. Furthermore, W&M has shot 50-percent, or better, in three games. For the season, the Green and Gold ranks 24th in the country at 46.4-percent.

- Each of the last two seasons, the Tribe has set a new school record for non-conference regular season wins with nine in 2015-16 and 10 last season. The Tribe's nine victories is tied for second place all-time currently. In its last 32 non-conference games, W&M has posted a 28-4 mark.

- After losing its top two scorers from last season, W&M has put, at least, three players in double-figures in all 10 games this season. Seniors Jenna Green and Abby Rendle as well as junior Bianca Boggs lead the team with nine double-digit performances. Sophomores Victoria Reynolds (six times) and Nari Garner (three times) have also scored in double-figures, in at least one game, this season.

- One of the Tribe's biggest question marks heading into the season was who was going to hit 3-pointers with the graduation of Marlena Tremba, Latrice Hunter, and Alexandra Masaquel, who combined for 66-percent of the team's 3-pointers last season. W&M has responded by shooting 39.0-percent (60-for-154) from range, which is good for first in the CAA and 25th in the country. Sophomore Nari Garner leads the team and is 18-of-39 (46.2-perencet) from range this season.

- Not only is senior Jenna Green scoring at a higher rate this season, but she is also finding her teammates at a higher clip. The Clifton, Virginia native has been in double-figures in eight games and is averaging 11.3 points per game. She has added 63 assists, which is good for 23rd in the country, while her 6.3 apg. rank her 19th.

- W&M and the CAA's new all-time blocks leader senior Abby Rendle broke the school record  with her 256th career block in the game against Davidson, and then topped the league's record with her 274th career block versus ODU. Rendle is second in the country with 53 blocks, but her 5.3 bpg. rank as the nation's best. Her 275 career blocks are also the third-most active blocks in the country.

- Junior Bianca Boggs has had a strong start to the season. She has been the team's leading scorer three times, and recorded the most points in a game by a CAA player this season when she scored a career-high 33 points at St. Francis (Pa.) on Dec. 2. For the year she is averaging a team-high 15.4 points per game, which is third in the CAA, to go along with 4.9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists.

- For the past four seasons, W&M has led the CAA in steals each year. So far this season, the Tribe is doing the same.  W&M has 114 thefts, which is second in the CAA and ranks 41st nationally. The Tribe's 11.4 spg. are first in the CAA and 33rd in the NCAA.
