- Savannah State ranks second nationally in pace of play at 80.8 possessions per game. By comparison, W&M's previous opponent Marshall was seventh nationally in the category, while the Tribe is 87th at 71.9. Both the Tribe and Tigers average better than 80 points per game and rank among the top 20 nationally in 3-pointers made. Savannah State scores at an 82.1 per game clip and connects on 11.2 3-pointers per contest. Last season, W&M hit a then-school record 19 3-pointers in a 112-85 win over the Tigers.

- Senior Connor Burchfield set a W&M school record and tied a CAA record with 10 3-pointers in the win over Marshall. He knocked down five 3-pointers in each half, including three-straight midway through the second to give the Tribe the lead for good. His 10 3-pointers are the second most in the country this season. Over the last three games, Burchfield is averaging 18.3 points per game and shooting 75 percent (18-of-24) from 3-point range.

- The Tribe currently leads the country in 3-point percentage at 47.7, while ranking fourth in 3-pointers made per game (12.3). Over the last three contests, W&M is shooting a ridiculous 62.4 percent (53-of-85) from 3-point range and averaging 17.7 triples per tilt. The Green and Gold has posted three of the top eight 3-point percentages in school history over the last three games.
- W&M is averaging 97.3 points per game over the last three contests. On the year, the Tribe leads the CAA at 84.3 points per game. W&M is the only team in the CAA to rank among the top three in scoring each of the last six seasons and last season averaged a school-record 81.7 points per game.

- Sophomore Nathan Knight (31) and senior Connor Burchfield (30) each scored 30 points in the victory over Marshall on Wednesday. They became the fourth pair of Tribe teammates to score 30 points in the same game, third under head coach Tony Shaver and first since Marcus Thornton (37) and Omar Prewitt (33) did it in the 2015 CAA Semifinals against Hofstra.

- The Green and Gold holds the mantle as the top shooting team in the CAA. The Tribe currently leads the league in field goal (49.2), 3-point (47.7), effective field goal (57.2) and free throw percentage (79.0). W&M is also one of only four teams in the country, along with Georgetown, Saint Mary's (Calif.) and Texas A&M, to rank among the top 50 nationally in all four categories.

- Senior Connor Burchfield and sophomore Matt Milon have been on fire from 3 over the last three games. Combined the pair is shooting 70.7 percent (29-of-41) from distance and hitting nearly 10 triples per game (9.7).  On the year, Burchfield leads the CAA in both 3-point percentage (57.9) and 3-pointers made (3.7), coming in seventh and 15th nationally. Milon is third in the league and 42nd nationally in 3's made (3.2) as well as fourth and 29th in percentage (54.7).

- Along with averaging 22.5 points per game over the last two games, senior David Cohn has been finding his teammates at a high rate, including a career-high 13 assists against Marshall, which ranks third in W&M history. Over the last three games, he is averaging 11 assists per game, increasing his season average to seven per contest. Cohn, who was named the CAA Player of the Week on Nov. 27, ranks second in the CAA and 12th nationally in assists.

- Sophomores Nathan Knight (19.5), Justin Pierce (14.5) and Matt Milon (13.3) are the Tribe's top three scorers and each ranks among the top 15 in the CAA. The group accounts for 55.8 percent (284-of-509) of W&M's points in 2017-18.  Each has scored in double figures in the last five games.

- The Tribe leads in the CAA in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.4) and is second in assists per game (17.0). Over the last five years, W&M led the CAA in assists on four occasions and ranked first or second in assist-to-turnover ratio every season.
