- It marks the 11th year in a row that the Tribe has faced a non-Division I opponent. Over that stretch, W&M has won those games by an average margin of 36.6 points per game. The Tribe scored at an 88.9 points per game clip in those contests, including a 95.4 average over the last four seasons.
- The Tribe owns an 19-game home court non-conference winning streak, dating back to 2013. It is the second-longest streak in school history behind only the 31-game stretch from 1946 through 1952. The Tribe's home record over the last five seasons is 48-10 (.825).
- Through the opening three games, the Tribe has been one of the top free throw shooting teams in the country. W&M is averaging 18 made free throws per game and shooting 79.4 percent at the charity stripe. The Tribe leads the CAA and ranks 31st nationally in free throw percentage. A total of 25.4 percent of the Tribe's offense is coming from the free throw line, which ranks 43rd nationally according to KenPom.com.
- Sophomore
Justin Pierce continued his strong start to the season with his first career double-double in leading the Tribe with 19 points, 10 rebounds and five assists at UCF. He currently ranks among the CAA leaders in eight different statistical categories, including leading the league in assist-to-turnover ratio (4.0). He is also fourth in free throw percentage (.889), sixth in rebounding (8.7), seventh in field goal percentage (.541) and blocked shots (1.0), 10th in scoring (16.7), 14th in steals (1.0) and 15th in assist (2.7).

Nathan Knight and
Justin Pierce ranks among the top 10 in the CAA in blocked shots. Knight is second (2.7) followed by Rowley in third (2.0) and Pierce in seventh (1.0).
- Against Hampton on Nov. 15, sophomore
Nathan Knight established a new Kaplan Arena record, going 18-of-22 from the free throw line. Along with facility records in both attempts and makes, it was the second-most attempts and third-most most makes in program history. The totals were the highest since Kurt Small was 19-of-24 at The Citadel in 1993.
- Sophomore
Nathan Knight set career-highs with 31 points and 14 rebounds in the win over Hampton. It was the first 30-point, 10-rebound double-double for W&M since Danny Sumner in 2008 and only the second in the 55 years of Tribe basketball. He ranks third in the CAA in scoring (20.0) and fourth in rebounding (9.7).
- Junior
Paul Rowley holds a distinction that few ever have in college basketball. After graduating from W&M in just three years with a double major in finance and computer science, Rowley started his first year of law school this fall. Last year, he became the first men's basketball player since 1912 to be named Phi Beta Kappa. Rowley is currently one of two Division I players in law school (Pepperdine's Kevin Hempy), but he is the only men's player to be a recruited scholarship player and attend law school at the same institution that he earned his undergraduate degree.
- Through three games, sophomore
Nathan Knight ranks ninth in the country in made free throws (31). According to KenPom.com, he is third nationally in fouls draw per 40 minutes at 12.0 and 23rd in free throw rate at 108.6.
