The Tribe earned the No. 2 seed in the tournament and received a bye in the first round. W&M will play the winner of the No. 3-seeded Elon Phoenix or No. 6 College of Charleston Cougars at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 26.

SERIES HISTORY VERSUS NO. 6 CHARLESTON
• If Charleston was to advance, they would meet W&M for the 12th time this as well, and for the fourth time in the last seven days. The Cougars lead the all-time series by a 9-2, all since joining the league, and CofC owns a 2-0 record against the Tribe in the CAA Tournament. The Cougars took the series last weekend 2-1.
• Senior
Charley Gould led the Tribe last weekend in Charleston, hitting .364 (4-for-11) with a double and two RBI. Freshman
Hunter Smith also added two RBI for the Green and Gold.

SCOUTING THE COUGARS
• Charleston enters the tournament as the No. 6 seed, but are the host for the event. They own a 29-24-1 record overall, and finished 12-12.
• As a team, the CofC batted .256 this for the regular season. All-CAA Rookie Team honoree Dupree Hart leads the team with a .309 batting average, adding 11 doubles, one triple, two homers, and 32 RBI. Bradley Jones leads the team in terms of slugging categories with 12 doubles, 11 homers, and 46 RBI. Morgan Phillips is second on the team with six homers and 34 RBI.
• On the mound Charleston boasts a combined 4.28 ERA. Nathan Helvey anchors the rotation with a 3.49 ERA, tossing 87.2 innings, with 61 strikeouts. Second-Team All-CAA pick Bailey Ober leads the team with 90 strikeouts. Will Detwiler leads the Cougars with 26 appearances, while Carter Love leads the team with nine saves.
• Matt Heath is in his first season as the skipper of the Cougars. He owns a 29-24-1 record.

• The winner of today's game will move on to the winner's bracket finals on Friday, May 27 at noon. Depending on seed, the loser of today's game will either play at 7 p.m. tonight, or at 3:30 on Friday, May 27.

PICK SIX
• The William & Mary baseball team had six players pick up seven All-CAA awards announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon.
• Senior
Charley Gould, junior
Ryder Miconi, and sophomore
Ryan Hall highlighted the awards by being named to the CAA Second-Team. Junior
Daniel Powers and sophomore
Cullen Large were tabbed to the third team. Freshman
Bodie Sheehan earned an all-rookie selection, while Miconi picked up an all-academic nod.

THE WRIGHTE WAY
• Freshman
Kyle Wrighte enjoyed one of the best weeks of his rookie season over the weekend on May 6-8 as he went 6-for-12 in the three-game series against Towson. He also provided the excitement in the Tribe's two victories. He doubled in the bottom of the ninth for the walk-off victory, before breaking the 1-1 tie in the bottom of the seventh with an RBI on Sunday.
• For the season, he's started every game hitting .263 with eight doubles, a triple, and 24 RBI.

POSTSEASON SUCCESS
• For the first time since qualifying for the CAA Tournament started, the W&M baseball team has made the tournament for the last four consecutive seasons. In three of the last four year's the Tribe has finished either first or second in the CAA. It is the first-time since the Division I era that the Tribe has been first or second in its league for three of four years.
• The first two seasons, the Tribe reached the CAA Championship game. During the last three seasons, W&M has made a trip to the NCAA Tournament and won the CAA regular season tournament.
