The set gets underway on Friday, April 8 at 6 p.m., continues on Saturday, April 9 at 4 p.m., before concluding on Sunday, April 10 at 1 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY• William & Mary meets UNCW for the 101st-103rd times this weekend at Plumeri Park. The Seahawks hold a 75-25 mark in the all-time series, including sweeping the series last year in Wilmington. However, the Tribe took the last series in Williamsburg 2-1 in 2014.

Charley Gould led the Tribe in three-game series last season. He went 5-for-11 (.455) with a RBI down in Wilmington.

SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS • Defending league champion UNCW is looking to move its winning streak to two games when they invade Plumeri Park on Friday night. The Seahawks are 16-9 overall, with a 2-2 mark in CAA play, however they have lost two conference games because of weather. • Through 27 games, UNCW has posted a .309 batting average. Nick Feight has had a monster season leading the team with a .379 batting average, 10 doubles, two triples, nine homers, and 43 RBI. He leads the Hawks in average, doubles, homers, and RBI. Brian Mims is second on the team with 26 RBI, while both Steven Linkous and Gavin Stupenienski have driven in 23 runs.
• On the mound, UNCW has combined for a 4.56 ERA as a team. Ryan Foster anchors the team rotation. He has posted a 4-1 record, 2.11 ERA, throwing 47 innings with a complete game, and 28 strikeouts. Out of the bullpen, Jared Gesell and Austin Magestro have made the most appearances with 14 and both have combined for the team's three saves. Magestro leads the team with 30 punchouts.
• Mark Scalf is in his 24th season at the helm of his alma mater. He won his 800th career game on opening day, and owns a 815-614-1.

ON DECK• The Tribe will host a pair of mid-week games following the CAA series. The Tribe plays ODU on Tuesday, April 12, before welcoming VCU on Wednesday April 13. First pitches are both set for 6 p.m.
• W&M hits the road for eight straight games following the homestand. The trek gets underway with a three-game CAA series at James Madison starting on April 15.

DOUBLING DOWN• W&M again is up in the national statistical rankings in doubles and doubles per game. The Tribe ranks 14th in the NCAA with 68 doubles, and 11th with 2.43 doubles a game.

GOING, GOING GONE• William & Mary has had two players have multiple home run games this season. Both

SCORING IN BUNCHES• The Tribe ranks 19th in the country with 7.8 runs per game, but when the team starts scoring the runs usually come in bunches. W&M has had 21 innings this season, where they have plated four, or more runs.
• Furthermore, the Green and Gold have had five games where they have scored four, or more, runs in multiple innings.
• The most runs W&M has scored an inning this season has been 7 on April 3 against Georgetown, but the Tribe has also scored six runs an inning three times this season.Â

WALK THIS WAY•Senior
Josh Smith has had some flair for the dramatic this season with both of the Tribe's walk-off hits this season. Against Holy Cross he lifted a sacrifice fly to centerfield that scored
Kyle Wrighte on a sacrifice fly. On Saturday against Georgetown,
Josh Smith launched a walkoff homer over the centerfield wall sending the Tribe home winners.

THE BACKSTOP• Freshman
Hunter Smith has taken full advantage of the starting role behind the plate since getting the nod against Norfolk State. He has batted .364 (16-for-44) with six doubles, a triple, a homer, and 16 RBI during that stretch.

Hunter Smith also picked up his first weekly award when he was tabbed CAA Rookie of the Week for the week of March 28.
• For the season the Caldwell, New Jersey native is batting .347 (25-for-72) with seven doubles, a triple, a homer, and 22 RBI.

LEADING IT OFF• Since moving into the leadoff role at the tail end of the California trip, junior
Charles Ameer has flourished. He is batting .393 (22-for-56) with eight doubles, three homers, and 12 runs drive in, and 19 runs scored.
• Ameer earned his first CAA weekly award when he won the CAA Player of the Week honor for the week of March 28.
• This year the Shelton, Connecticut native is hitting .330 (37-for-112) with nine doubles, five homers, and 21 RBI.

Charley Gould, who had reached base safely in every game prior to the ODU game, saw is his on-base streak come to an end at 27. Junior
Ryder Miconi now has the team's longest active streak at 24 consecutive games.

Charley Gould was selected as the CAA Player of the Week for the week of March 21, becoming W&M's first weekly award winners. Gould batted .500 (9-for-18) with three doubles, two homers, seven runs scored and nine RBI's in William & Mary's 3-1 week, that included a conference series win at Elon.
• Both junior
Charles Ameer and freshman
Hunter Smith followed up Gould's weekly award with weekly awards of thier own. Ameer batted .714 (10-for-14) with four doubles, a homer, five runs scored and six RBI's from the leadoff spot, while
Hunter Smith hit .571 (8-for-14) with three doubles, a triple, a homer and 10 RBI in William & Mary's three wins last week.

SMOOTH RYDER• Junior
Ryder Miconi has provided a sturdy bat at the DH spot for the Tribe. He is fourth on the team with a .341 batting average (29-for-85) with six doubles, a triple, two homers, and 16 RBI.
• He has reached base safely in his last 24 games.
• His best week of the season came the week of March 14-20 when he hit .529 (9-for-17).

HOME COOKING• W&M is off to a 9-1 start at Plumeri Park, but the wins aren't the only thing piling up at home this season. The offensive production has been very solid at home.
• As a team, the Tribe is hitting .347. They have scored 109 runs on 129 hits.
• Per game, W&M is averaging 10.9 runs and 12.9 hits at Plumeri Park.
