The series gets underway Friday, April 1 at 6 p.m., continues on Saturday, April 2 at 4 p.m., before concluding on Sunday, April 3 at 1 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY• William & Mary and Georgetown meet for the 22nd-24th time this weekend at Plumeri Park. The Tribe leads the all-time series 18-3.
• The teams have not met since the 2006 campaign, and the Tribe has won the last five meetings of the series.

SCOUTING THE HOYAS  • Georgetown snapped a four-game losing streak with a 5-4 victory over Coppin State on Wednesday afternoon. The Hoyas enter the weekend with 12-14 record overall.
• GU has a .263 team batting average. Michael DeRenzi leads the offense with a .370 batting average (34-for-92) adding seven doubles, two triples, a homer, and 10 RBI. Eric Garza leads the team with three homers, while, Jake Kuzbel leads the squad with 17 RBI. • On the mound, the Hoyas have combined for a 4.45 ERA as a team. Simon Mathews anchors the rotation with a 2.32 ERA and 26 strikeouts, which is tied for the team lead. Matt Smith also has recorded 26 strikeouts. Tim Davis leads the team with 12 appearances, while David Ellingson leads the Georgetown with six saves.
• Pete Wilk is in his 17th season as the head coach of the Hoyas. He owns a 335-547 record overall.

ON DECK• After closing the homestand, W&M hits the road for a pair of mid-week contests. The Tribe travels to Virginia Tech on Tuesday, April 5 for a 5:30 p.m. frist pitch, before heading to Old Dominion on Wednesday, April 6. The ODU game starts at 6 p.m.
• The Green and Gold return home for a CAA weekend when they host defending league champion UNCW to Plumeri Park. The series gets underway on Friday, April 8 at 6 p.m.

THE BACKSTOP• Freshman
Hunter Smith has taken full advantage of the starting role behind the plate since getting the nod against Norfolk State. He has batted .440 (11-for-25) with four doubles, a triple, a homer, and 11 RBI during that stretch.

Hunter Smith also picked up his first weekly award when he was tabbed CAA Rookie of the Week for the week of March 28.
• For the season the Caldwell, New Jersey native is batting .377 (20-for-53) with five doubles, a triple, a homer, and 20 RBI.

LEADING IT OFF• Since moving into the leadoff role at the tail end of the California trip, junior
Charles Ameer has flourished. He is batting .459 (17-for-37) with six doubles a homer, and nine runs drive in.
• Ameer earned his first CAA weekly award when he won the CAA Player of the Week honor for the week of March 28.
• This year the Shelton, Connecticut native is hitting .344 (32-for-93) with seven doubles, three homers, and 18 RBI.

GETTING ON BASE• Senior
Charley Gould has reached base safely in all 23 games this season for the Green and Gold to lead the team in that category. Junior
Ryder Miconi is just off the pace reaching safely in 19 contest.

Cullen Large launched his and William & Mary's first grand-slam of the season against Richmond March 22.
• Last season the Tribe combined for three grand-slam homers.

WEEKLY AWARDS• Senior
Charley Gould was selected as the CAA Player of the Week for the week of March 21, becoming W&M's first weekly award winners. Gould batted .500 (9-for-18) with three doubles, two homers, seven runs scored and nine RBI's in William & Mary's 3-1 week, that included a conference series win at Elon.
• Both junior
Charles Ameer and freshman
Hunter Smith followed up Gould's weekly award with weekly awards of thier own. Ameer batted .714 (10-for-14) with four doubles, a homer, five runs scored and six RBI's from the leadoff spot, while
Hunter Smith hit .571 (8-for-14) with three doubles, a triple, a homer and 10 RBI in William & Mary's three wins last week.

SMOOTH RYDER• Junior
Ryder Miconi has provided a sturdy bat at the DH spot for the Tribe. He leads the team with a .364 batting average (24-for-66) with five doubles, a triple, two homers, and 11 RBI.
• He has reached base safely in his last 19 games.
• His best week of the season came the week of March 14-20 when he hit .529 (9-for-17).

INSTANT IMPACT• Freshmen
Jason Waldman,
Kyle Wrighte, and
Hunter Smith played a vital role in the Tribe's series clinching win at Elon on Sunday afternoon. The trio combined to go 8-for-12 with five RBI in the win.
• Seven freshmen have appeared in the batting lineup at one point this season combing for more than 65 hits.
• On the mound, three more freshmen have appeared, including
Bodie Sheehan, who has started all of the Tribe's mid-week games.Â

HOME COOKING• W&M is off to a 7-0 start at Plumeri Park, but the wins aren't the only thing piling up at home this season. The offensive production has been very solid at home.
• As a team, the Tribe is hitting .354. They have scored 72 runs on 87 hits.
• Per game, W&M is averaging 10.3 runs and 12.4 hits at Plumeri Park.

DOUBLE-DIGIT RUNS• The Tribe has already had nine games this season where they have scored 10, or more, runs including all four games of the winning streak, and six of the last seven games. So far this season, W&M is 9-0 when they score in double-digit.
• Last season, the College had 11 games where they score 10, or more, times going 7-2.
• For the year, W&M is averaging 7.6 per game, which ranks them No. 24 in the country in scoring.

LARGE AND IN CHARGE• Sophomore
Cullen Large has two of the five four-RBI games for the Tribe this season. He launched the team's first grand-slam homer in the 12-8 victory over Richmond on March 22.
• For the season, the Chesterfield, Va. native is batting .297 (27-for-91) with five doubles, three homers, and a team-high 23 RBI, 16 of which have come with two-outs.

START ME UP• The Tribe offense has wasted little time getting runs on the board. W&M scratched across, at least, one first inning run in nine games this season.
• W&M is 6-3 this season when they score a run in the first inning.
