The action gets underway on Friday, March 18 at 4 p.m. The series continues on Saturday, March 19 at 2 p.m., before concluding on Sunday, March 20 at 1:30 p.m.

• The Green and Gold is looking to move its winning streak to two games after picking up a 10-6 home victory over Norfolk State at Plumeri Park on Tuesday evening.

SERIES HISTORY• William & Mary and Elon will meet for the 9-11 time in series history this weekend in North Carolina. It is the Tribe's first trip to Elon since the 1990 season.
• The all-time series between the two schools is deadlocked at 4-4. However, W&M holds a 2-1 advantage in games played as CAA rivals.
• Last season, the Green and Gold rallied to take the final two games of the series. Senior
Charley Gould the Tribe over the weekend series win with two RBI and two runs scored.

SCOUTING THE PHOENIX• Elon also enters its first conference weekend looking to bounce back from a loss to No. 6 North Carolina. The Phoenix have posted an 8-9 record through its first 17 games.
• As a team, Elon has posted a .274 batting average. Kyle Jackson leads the offense with a .429 batting average (27-for-63) with seven doubles and eight homers in 22 RBI. Jackson leads the CAA in homers and leads in RBI. Tyler McVicar (16), Danny Lynch (17), and Nick Zammarelli (11) are also in double-figures in RBI.
• On the mound, the Phoenix have combined for a 5.41 ERA on the season. Jordan Barrett and Nick Beaulac lead the team with 21.2 innings pitched, while Mason Daniels leads the team with 24 strikeouts. Chris Hall and Sean Byrnes lead the tea with seven appearances apiece, while Hall leads the team with four saves.
• Mike Kennedy is in his 20th season at Elon. He owns a 637-472-3 record during his time with the Phoenix.

ON DECK• W&M then returns home for a seven-game home stand and a stretch of 12 of the next 14 at Plumeri Park. The extended home stand starts on Tuesday, March 22 against Richmond. First pitch is for 6 p.m.
• Next weekend, W&M welcomes CAA foe Hofstra to Plumeri Park for a three-game series starting on Friday, March 25. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.

HOME COOKING• W&M is off to a 4-0 start at Plumeri Park, but the wins aren't the only thing piling up at home this season. The offensive production has been very solid at home.
• As a team, the Tribe is hitting .318. They have scored 36 runs on 42 hits.
• Per game, W&M is averaging nine runs and 10.5 hits at Plumeri Park.

DOUBLE-DIGIT RUNS• The Tribe has already had four games this season where they have scored 10, or more, runs including the victory over Norfolk State on Tuesday. So far this season, W&M is 4-0 when they score in double-digit.
• Last season, the College had 11 games where they score 10, or more, times going 7-2.
LARGE AND IN CHARGE• Sophomore
Cullen Large enjoyed the first four RBI game of the season for a Tribe player against Norfolk State on March 15. He went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs drive in. The four RBIs equaled a career-high for the fifth time in his young career.
• For the season, the Chesterfield, Va. native is batting .319 (22-for-69) with three doubles, two homers, and a team-high 15 RBI.

START ME UP• The Tribe offense has wasted little time getting runs on the board. W&M scratched across, at least, one first inning run in seven games this season.
• W&M is 4-3 this season when they score a run in the first inning.

MAKES YOU WANNA STAY• W&M played its first extra inning game of the season on March 7 against San Diego. The Tribe scored two runs in the 10th inning, improving to 1-0 this season in extras.
• Last season, the Green and Gold played four extra inning games, 2-2.

LETS PLAY TWO!• W&M played a pair of doubleheaders on its trip to California. W&M has at least one more doubleheaders on the schedule.
• The final double dip will come on May 13 at West Virginia.
• W&M is currently 1-3 in doubleheader games.

HALL PASS• Sophomore
Ryan Hall has had a strong start to the season. He owns a .354 batting average (23-of-65) with four doubles, a triple, two homers, and 13 RBI.
• He has reached base safely in all but two of the games he's played in this season.Â

BRINGING OUT THE BROOMS• William & Mary recorded its first weekend series sweep with three consecutive wins over Holy Cross last weekend. It was the first series sweep since a three-game sweep of James Madison on April 17-19.
• W&M has recorded at-least one three-game series in the last seven seasons.

GOING STREAKING• Senior
Josh Smith hit safely in his first 12 games of the season, which extended a streak from last year two 14 games, which leads the team. Despite his hitting streak coming to an end,
Josh Smith has reached base in every game this season.
• Senior
Charley Gould currently has the longest active streak on the team, hitting safely in his last five games.

AN ACE IN AKER• Senior
Mitchell Aker turned in one of his best starts of his career in his first start of the 2016 season. Aker tossed 6.1 innings allowing only an unearned run. He added two strikeouts on the day.
• Aker was even more impressive in his no decision against UConn on March 12. He didn't allow an earned run over seven innings, while scattering two hits and struckout a season-high seven Huskies.

BE A DUDE• For the fourth consecutive season, the William & Mary coaching staff will be giving out the "Be A Dude" Award for the Tribe player with the most two-out RBI over the course of the season.
• So far this season the Tribe has 30 two-out RBI. Sophomore
Cullen Large paces the Tribe with 11, two-out RBI, which are all but four of his RBIs he has this season. Junior
Charles Ameer is second on the team with four two-out RBI.
