WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The William & Mary women's basketball team opens a two-game home stand as they welcome Hofstra to Kaplan Arena on Friday, Feb. 12. The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. tipoff. It will also serve as the Tribe's annual Think Pink game, and all fans in attendance are encouraged to wear pink.

Tipoff between the Tribe and Pride is set for 7 p.m. W&M is looking to get back in the win column after suffering back-to-back setbacks on the road in North Carolina last weekend. The Tribe and Hofstra meet for 36th time in program history on Friday night. Hofstra defeated the Tribe in Hempstead on Jan. 17. Hofstra holds a 28-9-1 record in the series that dates back to the 1939 season. Hofstra has picked up victories the last three meetings between the two programs.
LAST TIME OUTThe William & Mary women's basketball team dropped a road Colonial Athletic Association contest at UNCW 59-44 on Sunday afternoon. Junior
Alexandra Masaquel scored team-high 16 points and added eight rebounds for the Tribe. Classmate
Marlena Tremba added 11 points, a season-high eight rebounds, and four assists.The Tribe hit a season-high 10, 3-pointers and shot 55.6-percent (10-of-18) from distance. From the floor, the Tribe shot 40.4–percent (23-of-57). Senior
Brooke Stewart appeared in her 100th career game on Sunday afternoon. She becomes the fourth Tribe player in the last three years to play 100 games, joining Kaitlyn Mathieu '14,

SCOUTING THE PRIDEHofstra enters Friday night's contest with a 17-5 record, 8-3 in CAA play, which is good for second place in the league standings. The Pride is looking to move its winning streak to two games after picking up a victory over Towson on Sunday afternoon. One of the higher scoring offenses in the league, Hofstra is averaging 66.1 points per game. Individually, Kelly Loftus leads the team with 13.9 points per game, while Ashunae Durant is second on the team with 11.5 points per game. Kyrstal Luciano is just off the double-figure pace with 9.5 points per game. On the glass, the Pride brings down 40 rebounds a game. Durant leads the team and is just shy of averaging a double-double with 9.1 rebounds a game. Anjie White is second in rebounding for the Pride averaging 8.2 boards a game. Krista Kilburn-Stevesky is in her 10th season with the Pride. She owns a 170-135 record during her time on Long Island.

Abby Rendle scored 16 points and was in double-figures for the fifth straight game, but it wasn't enough to overcome a hot shooting Hofrsta team, as the William & Mary women's basketball team fell on the road 75-45 on Jan. 17. Rendle finished with seven rebounds, two blocks, and one assist. Junior
Alexandra Masaquel was the only other Tribe player in double-figures finishing with 11 points. She added six rebounds in and played a team-high 32 minutes. Sophomore
Jenna Green scored seven of the first nine points of the game for W&M. She finished the game with seven points, three assists, and a steal for the Green and Gold.
THE ROAD AHEADThe Tribe closes out its two-game home stand by welcoming Delaware to Kaplan Arena on Sunday, Feb. 14. Tipoff for the Valentine's Day game is set for 2 p.m. W&M closes February with three of four games on the road starting with two consecutive games. W&M will be at James Madison on Feb. 19, before heading to College of Charleston on Feb. 21.

Jeanne Gaumont returned to the lineup after missing five games with an injury. Over her last five appearances she has really started to score the ball. She is averaging 6.6 points per game. Gaumont also set a career-high 31 minutes at UNCW on Feb. 7.
THE CENTURY MARKSenior
Brooke Stewart participated in her 100th career game as a member of the Tribe when she checked in the game against UNCW on Sunday, Feb. 7. The lone senior on the team, she is the fourth player in the last three years to eclipse the 100 game mark of their career joining Kaitlyn Mathieu '14,

BIG SHOT LATRICEJunior
Latrice Hunter enjoyed her best game since her freshman season against Northeastern on Jan. 31. She hit five 3-pointers to finish the game with a season-high 15 points. A spark off of the bench, Hunter is averaging 5.2 points per game to go with 1.6 assists in 16.9 minutes.
RAINING THREESW&M drained a season-high 10, 3-pointers against Northeastern on Jan. 31. The 10, 3-pointers is the most in a game since they hit 10 triples against Longwood on Nov. 29, 2014. That game was the only time during the 2014-15 season that the Tribe hit more than 10 triples.
FORCING TURNOVERS For the season, W&M is averaging 18.0 turnovers per game, which is first in the CAA. W&M has forced five opponents into 20, or more turnovers this season.
BLOCK PARTYW&M set the school record for blocked shots against UNCW with 16 on Jan. 22. Sophomore
Abby Rendle led the way with a school record 10 blocks, while junior
Alexandra Masaquel also swatted a career-best four shots. The Tribe put together the second-most blocks in school history against Charleston with 13 rejections. Junior
Kasey Curtis led the charge with seven blocked shots. For the season, W&M leads the CAA with 5.4, and also ranks 22nd in the country.
A GRAND OCCASIONWith her fourth quarter right-wing triple in the game against Delaware junior
Marlena Tremba became the 17th player in W&M school history to record her 1,000th career-point. In 78 games she is the fifth-fastest player to reach the mark.
SETTING SCHOOL RECORDSSince taking over the reigns of the William & Mary women's basketball program three years ago,
Ed Swanson and his team have begun to rewrite the record book. During his tenure, W&M has set 10 different school records as both a team or individual performances. This year, the Tribe has set the school record for blocks (16) and individual blocked shots (
Abby Rendle, 10).
BREAKING BIANCAFreshman
Bianca Boggs has made her presence known in her rookie season. She has started 17 games this season for W&M, including the last 16. The rookie won the game at Loyola with a free throw, before hitting a clutch free throw to send the game to overtime at Northeastern. She has been tabbed CAA Rookie of the Week for the weeks of Dec. 21, Jan. 25, and Feb. 1. In three games of the last five she has reset at least one career-high. Against Delaware she scored 18 points, after having a 16-point effort against UNCW. She followed that up with her first career double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds against College of Charleston. For the season the Waldorf, Md. native is averaging 8.5 points per game, 3.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists per game, and 2.1 steals per game.
SCORING IN THE SEVENTIESSo far this season getting over the 70-point clip has been a great sign for the Green and Gold. The six times the Tribe has reached that plateau they have won. W&M is 12-2 this season when they score 60, or more, points. On the other hand, when the Tribe scores 59 points, or less, they are just 1-7.
