WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The William & Mary women's basketball team will look for its sixth straight victory as they head to Washington, D.C. to take on former league mate American on Saturday, Dec. 3. The matinee is scheduled for a 2 p.m. tipoff.

This afternoon's matchup closes a stretch of three games in six days, and is also W&M's final game before final exams. The Green and Gold meets its former Colonial Athletic Association rival American for the 41st time in series history today.

Marlena Tremba were each in double-figures as the William & Mary women's basketball team cruised to its fifth straight victory with a 63-50 triumph against Dartmouth Thursday night in Kaplan Arena. Tremba did all of her damage in the first half as she scored a game-high 16 points, on 5-of-9 from the floor and 4-of-6 from 3-point land, adding a pair of rebounds and assists. Masaquel stole the show in the second half finishing the game with a season-high 14 points, six rebounds, and two helpers. Junior
Jenna Green chipped in seven points, five boards, four assists, and two thefts. The Tribe had strong efforts off its bench by a trio players. Senior
Latrice Hunter provided a spark in the beginning, finishing the night with three points, two rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Classmate
Kasey Curtis added a season-high five points, four rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Freshman
Nari Garner connected on two, 3-pointers in the fourth quarter and added a rebound.
Scouting the Eagles
American looks to make it two in a row as they continue a three-game homestand as they host the Tribe on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles, which have been in every game this season, including a pair of one point overtime losses, enters the game with a 2-4 record. AU is averaging 63.5 points per game on 44.7-percent (149-for-333) from the floor. Emily Kinneston leads the team with 12.7 points per game. Lauren Crisler is just off of the pass with 11.3 points a night. The Eagles bring down 35.3 rebounds a outing. Individually, they are led by Crisler with 6.5 rebounds a game, while Kinneston is second with 5.0 boards a contest. Megan Gebbia is in her third season at American. The Towson alum owns a 56-46 mark at the helm of the Eagles.
Series History
The Green and Gold and American meet for the 41st time on Saturday in the nation's capital. The Eagles lead the all-time series 26-14 between the former CAA rivals, however the Tribe picked up a 62-51 victory last year in Williamsburg. In that contest, senior

Maybe the most improved part of senior
Marlena Tremba's game over the past season and change his her ability to find open shooters. The team's leading scorer, Tremba is second on the team with 20 assists this season (3.3 per game), including a season-high six versus Richmond. A season ago she turned in the eighth-best single-season mark with 119 times, and she ranks ninth in school history with 264 helpers in her career.
Good Works Team
William & Mary women's basketball senior
Alexandra Masaquel was named one of 97 women's basketball players across all levels of college basketball as a nominee for the WBCA Allstate Good Works team announced by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association on Wednesday morning. Masaquel joins Delaware's Hannah Jardine and Hofstra's Sydni Epps as the Colonial Athletic Association's three nominees. Tribe men's basketball player redshirt junior Paul Rowley was also named to the Allstate Good Works team on the men's side. William & Mary is one of just 31 DI teams, and joins Hofstra as the only two schools in the league with a nominee on both the women's and men's side.
