Over that stretch, the Tribe has won its games against non-Division I opponents by an average margin of 35.2 points. The Tribe scores at an 86.9 points per game clip in those contests, including a 92.5 average over the last four seasons, while holding its foes to just 51.8 points per game.

- W&M ranks 42nd nationally, according to KenPom.com, in assist percentage, recording an assist on more than 60 percent of its made field goals (60.8). The Tribe is averaging 15.6 assists per game.

Scouting Milligan
- Milligan is an NAIA Division II program located in northeast Tennessee on the boarder of North Carolina and plays in the Appalachian Athletic Conference. The Buffaloes play in the same conference as Bluefield and Montreat, whom the Tribe defeated in 2014 (100-57) and 2007 (87-52), respectively.
- The Buffaloes are 6-8 on the year, including a 3-4 league mark. Milligan is coming off an impressive 79-27 win at The King's College (N.Y.) on Wednesday. They held The King's College to 19.7 percent shooting, including 0-of-14 from 3-point range. Milligan is led by Bill Robinson, who has won 116 games in eight seasons with the Buffaloes. Earlier this season, Milligan dropped a 102-64 decision at Middle Tennessee of Conference USA.
- Milligan averages 80.1 points per game, while allowing 79.1 per game defensively. The Buffaloes ranks sixth in NAIA Division II in defensive 3-point percentage (.291).
- Six Buffalo players average nearly eight points per game led by sophomore guard Tyler Nichols at 13.9 per contest. Sophomore forward Will Buckner is second on the team at 10.5 points per game to go along with a team-high 5.5 rebounds. He led Milligan with 10 points against Middle Tennessee.

Freshman Daxton Bostian, sophomore Jacob Cawood and junior David Casaday chip in 8.5, 8.3 and 7.9 points per game. Bostian leads the team at four assists per game to go along with 22 steals. He ranks 31st in NAIA Division II in assists and 38th in steals.
- The Tribe won the only meeting with Milligan, downing the Buffaloes, 55-45, during the 1948-49 season in Williamsburg.

Prewitt Points
- Senior Omar Prewitt is the top returning scorer from both last season and for his career in the CAA. He averaged 17.8 points per game in 2016, ranking among the top 100 nationally. He currently ranks sixth in the league at 16.3 points per game this season.
