WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - As part of a full day of Tribe Athletics, the William & Mary men's basketball team returns home to host Presbyterian on Saturday night. After Tribe football plays host to Richmond at noon, men's basketball takes the Kaplan Arena hardwood at 7 p.m., against the Blue Hose. The hoops contest will be broadcast for FREE in HD on Tribe Athletics TV via Stretch Internet.
Tribe fans can also catch the men's basketball action over the Tribe Radio Network with Jay Colley and Charlie Woollum on the call. The Tide 92.3 FM and 107.9 Bach FM are the flagship stations of the Tribe Radio Network and the audio is also available over the Web at TribeAthletics.com.

- The Tribe and Presbyterian meet for the first time on Saturday night. The Blue Hose will be the ninth of the 10 current members Big South that the Tribe has played. It is the first of two tilts against the Big South this season as W&M hosts Liberty on Nov. 26 as well.
- W&M is 20-15 all-time against the Big South, including a 14-8 mark under head coach
Tony Shaver. The Green and Gold is 7-2 against Big South teams over the last four years.

Nathan Knight has enjoyed a strong start to his Tribe career. He ranks second on the team in scoring (11.0) and is tied for the team lead in rebounding (6.0). He is coming off team-bests of 14 points and seven rebounds at No. 12 Louisville.Â
- W&M set a school and CAA record with 22 steals in its opening victory over Bridgewater. The Tribe averages 12.0 steals per game, which leads the CAA.
- Â The Tribe leads the CAA in defensive 3-point field goal percentage (.227), steals (12.0) and blocked shots (5.0) per game.
- W&M has won 20 games in each of the last three seasons. The Tribe is one of 50 teams nationally and one of only 19 mid-major programs with 20 wins each of the last three years.

Scouting Presbyterian
- Presbyterian enters the contest with the Tribe at 1-1 on the year. The Blue Hose opened with a 73-71 win at home over Furman, before falling at UNC Greensboro, 61-42, on Monday night.
- Presbyterian was picked 10th in the Big South preseason poll after finishing last season at 11-20 overall and 5-13 in conference play.
- Freshman JC Younger was named the Big South Rookie of the Week on Tuesday after averaging 10.5 points and six rebounds per game last week for PC. He had 15 points and eight rebounds in their season-opening win over Furman.
- The Blue Hose placed four players in double figures in the win over the Paladins. Jo'Vontae Millner led PC with 17 points and seven rebounds, while Davon Bell and Reggie Dillard chipped in 14 and 10 points, respectively.
- Millner, who is a freshman, leads Presbyterian at 12.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game through the first two contests of his career. Bell is second on the team at 11.5 points per contest, while leading the team with four steals and six assists.
- As a team, Presbyterian is averaging 57.5 points through the first two games, while shooting 41.9 percent from the field and 31.4 percent from 3-point range. The Blue Hose shoot 81.3 percent from the free throw line, which ranks 17th nationally. On the year, Presbyterian is getting outrebounded by 12.5 per game.
Tribe vs. the Big South
- Since the Big South was established in 1983, the Tribe is 20-15 all-time against the league, including a 14-8 mark under head coach
Tony Shaver.
- The Green and Gold is 7-2 against the Big South over the last four seasons, including victories in both contests last seasons at Liberty, 70-59, and at home in OT against High Point, 78-75.
- W&M is 26-15 all-time against the current 10 members of the Big South. Presbyterian and W&M meet for the first time on Saturday and it marks the ninth of the 10 current Big South members that W&M has faced. The only Big South team that the Tribe has yet to face is UNC Asheville.

Prewitt Among Active NCAA Division I Leaders
- Senior wing
Omar Prewitt ranks among the top 100 among NCAA division I players in six offensive categories and just outside the top 100 in another.
- Prewitt is 15th among NCAA Division I players in scoring with 1,389 career points, a number that also leads the CAA. He is also 29th among active D1 players in scoring average (14.2).
- In rebounding, Prewitt ranks 78th nationally among active D1 players (460), a total that is sixth among CAA players.
- He ranks 18th among active D1 players in field goals made (461), 29th in free throws made (319) and 64th in 3-pointers made (148).
- Prewitt is just outside the top 100 in assists, ranking 108th with 226 helpers over his career.

- Freshmen
Justin Pierce,
Nathan Knight enjoyed strong starts to their collegiate careers and solidifying their spots in the Tribe rotation. Each player has led W&M in scoring in the first two contests of the year.
- Knight is W&M's second-leading scorer at 11 per game and tied for the team-lead at 6.0 rebounds per contest .He topped the Tribe at 14 points and seven rebounds in 20 minutes at No. 12 Louisville.
- Playing just 18 minutes off the bench, Pierce topped W&M in points (17), rebounds (6) and steals (4). The Tribe rookie connected on 7-of-9 from the floor, including a pair of dunks. His 17 points were the most for a Tribe player making his freshman debut since David Schneider in 2006. A Second Team All-CAA in 2010, Schneider had 18 points, nine rebounds and seven assists at Kansas State in his career debut.
- Knight ranks fifth in the CAA in offensive rebounds (3.0), 15th in field goal percentage (.476), 16th in rebounding (6.0) and 25th in scoring (11.0), while Pierce is fifth in the league in field goal percentage (.571).
