CAA Media Day to be Broadcast Live on ESPN3 on Tuesday

RICHMOND, Va. – The Colonial Athletic Association tips off the 2016-17 basketball season with the league's annual Media Day on Tuesday, October 25, from the Key Bridge Marriott in Arlington, Va.

Coverage of the event is headlined by Media Day Live, which will be broadcast across the nation on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app beginning at 10 a.m. EST. The two-and-a-half hour show, hosted by Comcast SportsNet's Al Koken and Christy Winters-Scott, will include interviews with all 20 CAA men's and women's basketball head coaches, student-athletes from each school, and CAA Commissioner Joe D'Antonio. W&M head men's basketball coach Tony Shaver and senior Omar Prewitt are set for the ESPN3 broadcast at 10:09 followed by W&M head women's basketball coach Ed Swanson and senior Marlena Tremba at 10:16.

Both HerbFM Sports Radio and WRHU Radio will be broadcasting live from Media Day. Fans can listen in to HerbFM by clicking HERE, and at WRHU via WRHU.org. Shaver is set to be on the WRHU broadcast at 11:06 a.m.

CAA Basketball Media Day will also be covered through the league's Twitter (@CAABasketball), Instagram (@caasports) and Facebook accounts. CAA Basketball Media Day Central (CAASports.com/mediaday) will be the event's online home. Media Day Central will include a live feed of social media content, and provide a hub of news and information, including the announcement of the preseason all-conference teams and predicted order of finish.

Following Media Day, interview segments with coaches and student-athletes will be available at Media Day Central.
