News and Notes- Delaware leads the all-time series with the Tribe at 24-8 and has won the last nine meetings between the teams. W&M will look for its first win over the Blue Hens since sweeping the season series in 2010. The Tribe's last win at UD was a 74-73 OT victory in 2010 after rallying from a seven-point deficit with 32 seconds left thanks to three 3-pointers in the final 20 seconds.
- The last three games between W&M and Delaware have been decided by eight total points, while four of last five games in the series have been decided by five points or less.
- The Tribe has connected on 50 percent or better from the field in four of its last seven games. W&M ranks 22nd in the country at 48.5 percent from the floor and has been even better in CAA play at 51.2 percent. The Green and Gold is one of only three teams to rank among the top 30 nationally in field goal percentage each of the last four years.
- For the fourth straight season, W&M leads the CAA in shooting from 3-point range at 37.9 percent. The Tribe is one of four teams to rank among the top 50 nationally each of the last four years in 3-point percentage.

Terry Tarpey has scored in double figures in six straight games, averaging 13.7 points per game during the stretch. He is shooting 55.9 percent (33-of-59) from the field and 87.5 percent (14-of-16) at the free throw line in those six games.

Omar Prewitt, who leads the Tribe in scoring at 16.6 points per game, scored 30 points last season at Delaware, hitting 6-of-9 from 3-point range. He averaged 27.5 points per contest in 2015 against the Blue Hens.
Scouting DelawareDelaware enters Thursday's contest at 5-14 on the year and have suffered 11 straight losses. The Blue Hens are 0-8 in CAA play, but have lost their last four games by single-digits and an average of five points per contest. The last time out, UD dropped a 59-58 contest at Charleston on Saturday.
The Blue Hens are one of the top rebounding teams in the CAA. Overall, UD ranks fifth in the league at 38.7 rebounds per contest and third in rebounding margin (+3.1). The Blue Hens are fourth in the CAA in both offensive rebounds per contest (11.9) and offensive rebounding percentage (31.9). Delaware is the second-best team in the CAA and 41st in the country at getting to the free throw line. In fact, nearly 25 percent of UD's points come from the free throw line, which ranks 19th nationally. Delaware averages 66.2 points per game, while allowing 74.4 per contest defensively.
A trio of Blue Hen players average in double figures led by Kory Holden, who ranks third in the CAA at 16.9 points per game. Holden, who was a CAA All-Rookie Team pick last season, leads the team and ranks fourth in the CAA at 4.2 assists per game. Marvin King-Davis is scoring 14.8 points per game, which is ninth in the CAA, while adding the second-best rebounding average in the league at 9.4 per contest. He has been even better in CAA play at 17 points and 10 rebounds per game. King-Davis is tied for the CAA lead with 10 double-doubles on the year. Cazmon Hayes ranks 15th in the CAA at 12.9 points per game, while Anthony Mosley is chipping in 12.5 per contest in CAA play.

Top 3-Point Shooting Team For the fourth straight season, the Tribe leads the CAA in 3-point shooting at 37.9 percent. In fact, the Green and Gold has ranked among the top 50 nationally in 3-point field goal percentage each of the last four years, including 47th this season. W&M is one of only four teams nationally, along with Duke, Drake and Northern Colorado, to ran among the top 50 in the country each of the last four years. The Tribe has upped its 3-point shooting since getting into conference play, connecting at a 39.3 percent clip in league action. Over the last seven contests, the Green and Gold is shooting 42.1 percent (59-of-140) from 3-point range.
CAA Play is Tarpey TimeSince entering CAA play, senior
Terry Tarpey has increased his scoring production. It is a similar pattern that the Stamford, Conn., native followed during his junior season as well. After scoring at a 9.6 per game clip in the non-conference this season, the Tribe senior bumped his scoring average to 11.9 in CAA play, which ranks 25th in the league. In 2014-15, Tarpey averaged 7.6 points per game in the non-conference slate, before pushing his averaged to 14.4 per contest in CAA action, which was ninth in the league. In the Tribe's win at Drexel on Jan. 7, Tarpey scored a season-high 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting. All four of Tarpey's career 20-point games have been in league play.
Elite ShootingOver the last four year, W&M is one of the top shooting teams in the country. This season, the Tribe leads the CAA and is 22nd in the country at 48.5 percent from the floor. It marks the fourth straight season in which W&M has ranked among the top 30 nationally, making it one of only three teams to accomplish the feat. The Green and Gold finished 14th in the country at 48.3 percent in 2015, 25th at 47.6 percent in 2014 and 30th at 46.7 percent in 2013. Along with the Tribe, both Belmont and Gonzaga have ranked among the top 30 nationally each of the last four years. With its 48.5 percent shooting this season, W&M has connected on 45 percent or better from the floor in four straight years for the first time since the 1981-82 and 1984-85.
Impact TransferSophomore guard
David Cohn, who joined the W&M program after spending his freshman year at Colorado State, is starting to hit his stride as the schedule turns to CAA play. In league action, he is averaging 12 points and 4.9 assists per game, while shooting 55.7 percent overall (33-of-59) and 56 percent from 3-point range (14-of-25). He leads the CAA in 3-point percentage in conference games, while ranking third in field goal percentage. He scored at least seven points in every league games, including five double-digit efforts. He has scored in double figures in four of the last five games, including his first career double-double with 14 points and 11 assists. Twice in CAA play, Cohn established a career-high in scoring with 16 points against Towson and at Hofstra.
20-Assist Games In three of its last five games, the Tribe has dished out 20 assists, including its highest total since 1995. The Green and Gold tallied 21 assists in a win over Northeastern on Jan. 9, before recording 20 at UNCW on Jan. 16. In its most recent victory against Elon, W&M dished out 27 assists on its 36 made field goals, marking the fifth most assists in school history. It was the program's highest assist total since tallying a school-record 33 in a 1995 victory over George Mason. The Tribe is 4-1 this season and 17-1 over the six seasons when dishing out 20 or more assists in a game.
