Box Score The William & Mary field hockey team fell on the road at No. 13 Old Dominion on Friday night, by a score of 5-2. The Tribe moves to 3-2 on the year, while the Lady Monarchs improved to 4-1.
Box ScoreThe Tribe were tenacious on defense in the first half, allowing just a single goal despite seven ODU corners and eight shots. The hosts began to find the range in the second half, however, building out to a 5-0 lead with just 12 minutes to go. W&M showed tremendous fight and took advantage of a pair of opportunities in the final six minutes.

Emma MacLeod (Richmond, Va.). It was the third goal of the season for MacLeod, and the third assist for Saunders who is now tied for second all-time with 21 career assists.
William & Mary is back in action Sunday, facing No. 4 Duke on the turf in Durham at 1 p.m.
