Men's Tennis Closes Out Play at the ITA Atlantic Regional

BLACKSBURG, Va. - The William & Mary men's tennis team closed out play at the ITA Atlantic Regional Championships on Sunday afternoon. After posting wins in the opening two rounds on Friday and Saturday, senior Scott Huang and junior Aidan Talcott dropped matches to top-four seeds and nationally-ranked competition at the regional on Sunday.
 
Huang fell to the event's top seed Andreas Bjerrehus of Virginia Tech, 6-2, 6-0. Bjerrehus was ranked No. 28 nationally in the ITA national rankings to begin the fall season. Talcott dropped a 6-3, 6-4 decision to the Virginia Tech's Joao Monteiro, who was ranked No. 70 nationally and seeded No. 4 at the regional.
 
The Tribe returns to action next weekend when it travels to Raleigh, N.C., to take part in the N.C. State Invitational, Oct. 23-25.
