The William and Mary men's golf team wrapped up its regular season Sunday afternoon at the Rutherford Intercollegiate, finishing 11th out of 14 teams with a three-round total of 937 (+85).  Bowling Green won the par-71 tournament by seven strokes, 901-908 (+49 to +56), over Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  IUP's Brad Boyle claimed the individual medal, shooting 219 (+6) over the two-days of action.

The Tribe's top linksman on the weekend was freshman Alex Hicks (Cape May Court House, N.J.), who followed up his first-round 79 with scores of 77 and 73 to improve to a tie for 15th overall at 229 (+16).  Sophomore Tanner Taddeo (Hendersonville, Tenn.) tied for 39th at 236 (+23), and classmate Patrick Leisure (Charlottesville, Va.) was two strokes back in a tie for 45th.  Junior Jeremy Wells (Hopewell, Va.) shot 239 (+26) to finish tied for 51st, and freshman Charlie Kern (Seattle, Wash.) rounded out the team scoring in a tie for 70th at 245 (+32).

With the regular season now complete, the Tribe will aim for the conference title and accompanying NCAA bid at the Colonial Athletic Association Championships.  The three-day event will take place this year in Wilmington, Delaware, at the Wilmington Country Club April 27-29.
