WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - TribeAthletics TV will give Green and Gold fans the
opportunity to watch home William and Mary men's and women's basketball games
this season via an enhanced broadcast. The season kicks off for both Tribe
programs on Friday as part of a men's and women's basketball doubleheader from
Kaplan Arena. The women host East Carolina at 5 p.m., before the men welcome
instate foe Hampton to Williamsburg at 7:30 p.m.
This season's broadcasts will include a three-camera shoot
with new and higher-quality equipment. The stream, which will be provided in
standard definition, will include the Tribe Radio Network broadcast for men's
games, while senior Alex Farina returns for his second year as the voice of
Tribe women's basketball.
All Tribe basketball home games will be available at
TribeAthletics TV with the exception of the men's game on Nov. 21 against Miami
(Ohio), which will be broadcast nationally on the NBC Sports Network. The Tribe
women's game against Northeastern on Feb. 14 will be subject to blackout in
certain areas due to the regional TV broadcast on the Comcast family of
networks. The same will be true for men's games against George Mason (Jan. 5), Drexel
(Jan. 19), Hofstra (Feb. 2) and James Madison (March 2).
Fans can purchase an annual TribeAthletics TV package (12 months) for $69.95.
The four-month TribeAthletics TV lineup is available for $39.95, while fans
will be able to buy monthly passes at a price of $10.95 each. The one-month
pass is a 30-day duration from the sign-up date, meaning a pass starting on
Friday, Nov. 9, would include all TribeAthletics TV broadcasts through
Saturday, Dec. 8. All TribeAthletics TV packages are automatically renewed
following the duration of the subscription, meaning fans will have to cancel it
at the conclusion of the package if they do not want it to continue. Fans with
video broadcast or account questions can contact the NeuLion Fan Support Center
at (877) 967-3267.
This season's TribeAthletics TV broadcast schedule will
include the final home game for Tribe football against Richmond on Nov. 17 as
well as home games for men's and women's basketball, lacrosse and the Colonial
Relays.
