Doug Hurson Named Second-Team All-CAA

HOT SPRINGS, VA - The Colonial Athletic Association announced the post-season winners for men's golf today at the awards banquet after the first round of the 2007 conference championships. Georgia State's Joel Sjoholm was named Golfer of the Year, while Old Dominion's Eric Onesi won Rookie of the Year and Monarch's coach Murray Rudisill won Coach of the Year.

William and Mary sophomore Doug Hurson (Bethesda, Md.) was selected to the All-CAA second-team, after a spectacular season that saw him lead the team in five of the eight tournaments. His season average of 73.76 ranks fourth all-time at the College, and his career average of 74.52 is third all-time.

The CAA Championships continue tomorrow and Sunday.
