Jeff Kader (Geneva, OH), ranked 58th in the nation, lost a hard-fought match to No. 10 Alex Vlaski (Washington), 7-5, 7-6 (5), in the first round of the NCAA Men's Tennis Singles Championship this afternoon at the University of Tulsa's Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
The loss ends Kader's season with a record of 21-20. A first team All-Colonial Athletic Association selection in singles, he had defeated seven nationally-ranked opponents this season, including two in the top 10.
