W&M-Hofstra All-Time Series
Hofstra controls the all-time series, 16-8, and has won nine of the last 10 matchups. However, five of the last 12 games have been decided by just one goal, which includes four overtime contests. The programs first met in 1978 – an 18-0 W&M victory.

Last Meeting vs. Hofstra
W&M fell to Hofstra, 11-7, in its CAA home opener at Martin Family Stadium last season. W&M and HU were even during the final two quarters and scored six goals apiece, but the Tribe was unable to overcome the four-goal halftime deficit. Anna Dawson, Chiodo Ortiz and Finley Hoffman led W&M with two goals apiece, while Kate Draddy (1g, 1a) and Paige Gilbert (2a) both added two points. Gilbert also posted a game-high five draw controls, while Draddy tallied four ground balls and three draw controls. Dawson also came up big with a career-high five ground balls. Jaylin Locke led the Tribe defensively with three caused turnovers and three ground balls, while Molly Delaney (3ct, 2gb) and Anna Armstrong (2ct, 3gb) also posted impressive efforts.

Last Time Out
W&M concluded its home slate with a 10-8 setback against Campbell on Senior Day at Martin Family Stadium last Sunday. W&M owned a 7-5 advantage after three quarters, but CU closed the contest by scoring five of the final six goals during the final 15 minutes to secure the conference victory. Kate Draddy led W&M with a team-high four points (2g, 2a) to go with four draw controls, three ground balls and a caused turnover. The Tribe owned a 26-21 advantage in ground balls, but Campbell secured 12 of 20 draw controls, including four of six in the fourth quarter. Both teams committed 19 turnovers apiece.

Seeking a Milestone Win
With one more victory W&M will secure eight victories this season, matching the most wins by the program (2023) dating back through 2012. Additionally, one more CAA win will equal the program's highest conference total during the same time span.

Looking to Finish Strong
W&M has concluded its regular season slate with victories during two of the past three seasons. However, the Tribe has not secured a road win in its regular season finale since 2013 when it won at George Mason.

Impressive Defensive Efforts
During a recent stretch of six games (March 8 – April 4), W&M held its opponents to just 8.8 goals per game and did not allowed more than 10 goals in any of those contests. It marked the program's longest stretch since 1998. Additionally, W&M has limited nine opponents to no more than 10 goals this season.

Narrow Margins
W&M owns a 5-1 record in games decided by three or fewer goals this season. It earned wins against Geoge Mason (14-12), Coastal Carolina (9-7), Xavier (8-7), UMBC (12-10) and Monmouth (13-10), while its lone setback came against Campbell (10-8).

Record Breaker
Kate Draddy made history in the win against UMBC by becoming the program's all-time leader in draw controls, as her five draw controls increased her career total to 179 – breaking the previous mark of 177 set by Sarah Cipolla (2020-23). She currently has 199 draw controls.

Underclassmen Impact
W&M's freshmen and sophomores have scored 69.0 percent (107 of 155) of the team's goals this season, as five the Tribe's top seve scorers are underclassmen.

Record Watch
Jaylin Locke is currently ranked seventh at W&M in career caused turnovers (32) and needs just three more to pass Ashley Bolton for sixth.

Goalie Marin Wilhelm currently ranks 10th at W&M with 271 career saves.

Single-Season Top-10 Lists
In addition to being W&M's career record holder for draw controls, Kate Draddy also ranks fourth on the program's single-season list with 65 this spring. With four more, she can leap all the way to second, passing her total (66) from 2024 and Sarah Cipolla's (68) from 2023.

With 16 assists, Grace Walter is also closing in on W&M's single-season list and needs just seven more.

W&M's 70 assists as a team is also just seven shy of breaking into the program's top-10 list.

Elite Efforts
Freshman Mila Millhouse's seven goals in the win against Drexel tied for sixth in the Tribe's record book and marked the most goals scored by a freshman in the country this season.

Goalie Anna Lopez also etched her name in W&M's record book with 18 saves versus No. 13 Stony Brook, as she equaled the sixth-best performance in school history.

CAA Defensive Player of the Week
After helping lead W&M to a victory against Coastal Carolina, sophomore standout Sophie Busam was selected as the CAA Co-Defensive Player of the Week. En route to helping the Tribe limit Coastal Carolina to just seven goals, including just one score in the final 26:19, Busam totaled a career-high three caused turnovers to go with four ground balls.

CAA Rookie of the Week Honors
After posting outstanding performances, a pair of W&M standout freshmen have been selected as the CAA Rookie of the Week this season. Mila Millhouse (Feb. 16 & March 16) and Nora Begley (Feb. 23 & March 30) both garnered the distinction twice.

Snapping a Streak
W&M's 13-7 win against Drexel on March 14 snapped the Dragon's eight-game winning streak in the series.

Big Margin
W&M's 20-5 victory against Longwood in its home opener marked the program's largest margin of victory since its 21-3 win at Stetson in 2013. Additionally, the Tribe's goal total marked the program's highest scoring output since 2022 when it earned a 20-15 win at Campbell, while the defensive performance marked the fewest goals allowed by W&M since 2020 when it defeated Old Dominion, 11-4.

Overtime Success
The Tribe has won four of its last six OT games dating back to 2019.

Academic Excellence
During the fall, W&M was once again recognized for its academic excellence as it recorded the second-highest Federal Graduation Rate (FGR) among all Division I public institutions. Lax helped lead the way and earned a 100% GSR for the eighth straight season. Additionally, 24 standouts were named to the CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll during the fall semester.
