WILMINGTON, N.C. — William & Mary dropped game two of its series at UNCW on Saturday at Brooks Field, falling to the Seahawks 22-1.
UNCW (18-8, 7-1 CAA) opened the scoring with a two-run homer by Kevin Jones in the first inning. The Seahawks would score four runs in the first before adding seven more in the second to break the game open.
The lone run for William & Mary (11-14, 3-5) came in the sixth on
Anthony Greco's solo home run. It was the second home run of the year for Greco, both as a pinch-hitter.
UNCW's Cooper Allen was the winning pitcher.
Luke Calveric took the loss for W&M.
