Named the CAA Player of the Year after leading the Tribe with a .355 batting average, 65 runs, 72 hits, 12 doubles, 13 homers, and 45 RBI across 53 games at shortstop… During the regular season, led the CAA with six triples, ranking fourth in Division I… Ranked 15th in the nation in stolen bases with 36… Drew 41 walks with a .464 on-base percentage while posting a .665 slugging percentage… Had 21 multi-hit games… Went 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and a homer at Virginia Tech (2/14)... Recorded three hits and a triple against Binghamton (2/20)... Stole two bases and scored three runs in a win vs. Lafayette (2/28)... Had a 3-for-4 day at Campbell (3/7)... Homered and scored three runs in a victory at Georgetown (3/15)... Went 3-for-4 at the plate with two RBI and two steals vs. N.C. A&T (3/20)... Broke the single-game program record for stolen bases with five in a three-hit day vs. N.C. A&T (3/22)... Had his first multi-homer game against Campbell, going 3-for-4 with a pair of solo shots (4/3)... Went 3-for-4 with three runs in a comeback win at Elon (4/10)... 2025 (Freshman)
Played in 55 games as a freshmen, starting 54... Earned Second Team All-CAA and All-Rookie honors after hitting .360 with 54 runs, 77 hits, 11 doubles, and two home runs... Ranked third on the team with 42 RBI... Posted a .423 on-base percentage with 25 walks... Stole 12 bases in 16 tries... Led all CAA freshmen in batting average, hits, runs, and stolen bases during the regular season... Made collegiate debut on Feb. 14 against Rhode Island, going 3-for-5 with an RBI and two runs... Scored four runs and walked three times against Rhode Island (2/16)... Drove in three runs in win over Marist (2/23)... Had a 4-for-5 outing with two runs vs. Penn State (3/2)... Went 3-for-6 with a double and two runs in victory over Princeton (3/12)... Collected three hits, three RBI, and four runs to help Tribe top N.C. A&T (3/22)... Four-year letterwinner at Lake Braddock High School... Was a four-time district champion, three-time regional champion, and region Player of the Year... First Team All-Met... Owns the school record for hits (106)... Also played travel ball for the Metro Senators... In the classroom, earned a 4.3 GPA.
Personal
Born on August 8, 2006 to parents Mike and Clare Laskofski... Father Mike was a standout baseball player at William & Mary from 1994-96 where he was a two-time All-CAA selection, First Team VaSID All-State, and owns the single-season record for on-base percentage... Mother Clare also attended W&M along with multiple aunts and uncles... Intends to major in finance... Enjoys walks and fishing in his free time.
