Baseball Drops Wednesday’s Contest Against East Carolina

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — William & Mary baseball suffered a setback on Wednesday afternoon at Plumeri Park, falling to East Carolina 24-3 in seven innings.

Trey Christman was a bright spot for the Tribe (5-10), going 2-for-3 with three RBI. In the first inning, Christman hit a two-run homer to give W&M its only lead of the contest at 2-1.

East Carolina (10-7-1) scored in each of the first six innings. The Pirates broke the game open with seven runs in the fourth and fifth innings.

Christman added another RBI in the third with a double. The redshirt sophomore collected six total bases on the day.

Jamie Laskofski had a multi-hit outing, going 2-for-2 with a walk and two runs.
