DANBURY, Conn. – After helping lead the William & Mary men's gymnastics team to a victory against No. 9 Navy on Saturday,
Luke Tully and
Nicholas Kosarikov earned weekly honors from the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC).
Tully was selected as the gymnast of the week and garnered co-routine of the week honors, while Kosarikov was chosen as the rookie of the week.
Tully highlighted the Tribe's individual performances in the Tribe's 310.85 – 308.6 triumph against the Mids, as he won high bar with a season-high 13.6 and placed second on floor (13.8, career high) and vault (13.75).
The Lebanon, Tenn., native also earned co-routine of the week honors for his impressive effort on high bar.
With the outstanding performance, Tully now leads the ECAC and ranks eighth nationally on high bar (13.367), while he is sixth in the conference on floor (13.433) and ninth on vault (13.65).
Kosarikov was named the league's rookie of the week after placing second on parallel bars with a career-high 13.4.
The Spring, Texas native currently ranks fourth in the ECAC on parallel bars with a 12.967.
After earning a season-high 310.85 against Navy, which ranks tied for the best score by any team in the ECAC this season, W&M will return to action when it hosts Simpson for its Alumni Meet at Kaplan Arena on Saturday at 2 p.m.
