WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The William & Mary men's gymnastics team recorded its best score of the season en route to earning an exciting 310.85 - 308.6 victory against No. 9 Navy on Senior Day at Kaplan Arena on Saturday afternoon.
Luke Tully highlighted the Tribe's individual performances, as he won high bar with a season-high 13.6 and placed second on floor (13.8, career high) and vault (13.75).
Gavin Zborowski and
Niko Greenly also provided multiple impressive efforts, as Zborowski finished second on high bar (13.1, career high) and third on pommel horse (12.9) while Greenly placed third on floor (13.65, career high) and parallel bars (13.35, career high).
A trio of other Tribe standouts also earned top-three finishes, as
Nicholas Kosarikov placed second on parallel bars (13.4, career high) and
Jonathan Irwin (13.05, equaled career high) and
Ricky Pizem (13.6) finished third on rings and vault, respectively.
In addition totaling its best overall score of the season, which also tied for the highest score by any team in the ECAC this season, W&M also registered season highs on floor (53.15), rings (50.35) and parallel bars (52.05).
