RICHMOND, Va. — After posting an undefeated week at No. 2 singles, Oliver Hague was named the CAA Men's Tennis Co-Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
Hague went 3–0 in singles competition, including a pair of three-set victories, while helping William & Mary earn a 6–1 win over Longwood.
The Manchester, England native opened the week with a comeback victory against Longwood's Daniel Borisov, rallying for a 4–6, 6–3, 6–4 win as the Tribe secured the team decision. He followed with a straight-set triumph over Furman's Theophile Joly, 6–1, 6–4.
Hague capped the week with another resilient performance, battling back to defeat Coastal Carolina's Jack Dixon, 4–6, 7–5, 6–2. Two of his three wins came after dropping the opening set.
