WASHINGTON, D.C. – The William & Mary women's gymnastics team posted its best score of the season en route to placing third at a tri-meet hosted by George Washington on Sunday afternoon.
New Hampshire claimed the team title with a 194.650 and was followed by GW (193.400) and W&M (192.000).
In addition to posting its best overall team total during the 2026 campaign, the Tribe also recorded its best score of the season on bars (47.875) and matched a season best on vault (47.850).
Hannah Burke highlighted the Tribe's individual performances and tied for second on floor, as she equaled a season high (9.825).
Ashley Ruedy nearly recorded a top-three finish in the event and tied for fourth with a career-best 9.775.
Michelle Ngo and
Ascha Laird led W&M on bars and tied for fifth with a 9.750. The impressive score is a career high for Ngo and a season best for Laird.
Jasmine Hou and
Melanie Faulkner tied for seventh on beam with a 9.675, as the score marked a career high for Hou.
Catherine Bare was the Tribe's top performer on vault and equaled her season high (9.650).
