WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The William & Mary men's gymnastics team will return to action this weekend when it competes in a dual meet at Springfield on Sunday at 1 p.m.

A LOOK AT THE TRIBE
After opening the season with trips to the West Point Open and the Navy Open, Sunday's competition will be the Tribe's first dual meet. W&M currently owns a 292.975 scoring average, while it ranks first in the ECAC on vault (54.575) and second on high bar (50.1). Both figures rank eighth nationally.
Individually,
Luke Tully was recently honored as the ECAC Gymnast of the Week following a tremendous performance at the Navy Open. He currently ranks second in the ECAC on high bar (13.133) and all-around (75.625) – figures that both rank among the top 20 nationally – while he is fourth on floor (13.15).
Ricky Pizem (12.95) and
Brayden Bates (12.8) have also performed well and rank fourth and fifth, respectively, on parallel bars and high bar.
SCOUTING SPRINGFIELD
Ranked 11th nationally, Springfield enters this weekend's meet with a 303.283 scoring average. The Pride's best event has been floor where it ranks first in the ECAC (51.617).
Blaise Rousseau leads the conference on rings (13.017), while Owen Carney (13.25) and Devon Felsenstein (13.963) rank second in the league on floor and pommel horse, respectively.
