LINCOLN, Neb. – The William & Mary men's gymnastics team finished fourth at a quad meet hosted by fifth-ranked Nebraska on Saturday afternoon.
The host Huskers claimed the team title with a 319.65 and were followed by Greenville (309.4), Simpson (298.95) and W&M (296.05).
In addition to posting its second-best team total this season, the Tribe also recorded season highs on floor (52.7) and high bar (52.1).
Luke Tully highlighted W&M's individual performances and was the team's top scorer in three events. The Lebanon, Tenn., native placed fourth on high bar with a season-best 13.45, while he finished sixth on floor (13.4) and seventh on vault (13.55).
Jared Noyman and
Gavin Zborowski led the Tribe on pommel horse and tied for ninth with a 12.2, while
Jonathan Irwin (12.6) and
Nicholas Kosarikov (11.85) were W&M's top performers on rings and parallel bars, respectively.
Evan Wilkins also came up big on high bar and placed fifth with a career-high 13.1.
