Nicholas Kosarikov earned
ECAC Rookie of the Week honors following a tremendous performance at the Tribe's season-opening meet at the West Point Open.
In addition to competing as an all-arounder and contributing to the Tribe's team score in four events on Friday, he advanced to the individual event finals on high bar (12.35) and parallel bars (13.2).
The Spring, Texas native placed sixth on high bar (12.6) and seventh on parallel bars (12.15) in the finals.
Kosarikov was among a group of six Tribe standouts who combined to qualify for nine routines in the event finals. It marked the program's most qualifiers at the West Point Open since 2018, while its nine routines in the finals were W&M's most since 2014.
The Tribe will return to action when it competes at the Navy Open on Saturday at 2 p.m.
