The Course

Playing at a par of 72 and 6,200 yards for the Kingsmill Intercollegiate, the River Course's final three holes are nestled along the historic James River, including the picturesque par-3 17th that plays on a bluff above the water. Former LPGA professional winners at the River Course include; Ariya Jutanugarn, Lexi Thompson, Cristie Kerr, Annika Sorenstam, Suzann Pettersen, Karrie Webb and Se Ri Pak. Former PGA professional winners at the River Course include; Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, Charles Howell III, David Toms, David Duval, Notah Begay III, Johnny Miller, Lanny Wadkins and Ben Crenshaw.

Tournament History
2025 marks the seventh time that the Tribe has hosted a fall event at the Kingsmill River Course, playing at the resort's Plantation Course from 2013-2016. James Madison holds the team scoring record at 6-over-par in 2021. The lone multi-time champion in the history of the event is Elon.
