NORMAN, Okla.—The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced the 2024-25 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars on Tuesday. Recent William & Mary golf alumni, Logan Hunter and Max Johnson were two of roughly 550 players across the country to receive the honor.

To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.

Hunter wrapped up his highly successful career with the Tribe this spring as the program's career record holder for rounds played with 117. The Tampa, Fla. native finished his four seasons with the Tribe with a career scoring average of 74.35, good for ninth in the W&M all-time ranks. His 33 career rounds of par-or-better are the second most in school history. Hunter averaged 75.13 in 2024-25, playing in all 29 of the team's rounds.

Johnson concluded his college career, and lone season in Gold and Green, with a 74.37 average over 29 rounds, posting a counting score 26 times for W&M. Johnson arrived in Williamsburg after spending four years playing for the Auburn Tigers, being a part of a national championship winning squad in 2023-24. Johnson posted four top-20 finishes for the Tribe in 2024-25.
