RICHMOND, Va. — William & Mary junior Brock Rempe has been named a recipient of the CAA Leadership & Sport Excellence Award for the 2024-25 academic year, the league office announced Friday morning.

Rempe was voted to the Tribe swimming leadership committee by his teammates. The Richmond native excelled in the classroom, earning the William & Mary Provost Award with a 3.75 GPA in finance. He was one of eight Tribe swimmers named to the CSC Academic All-District Team, in addition to his CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll selection.

In the pool, Rempe competed in eight meets, posting four event victories in the 100 breast. He qualified for two finals events at the CAA Championships, placing fourth in the 100 breast with a personal-best time of 53.44.

ABOUT THE AWARD
The CAA Leadership & Sport Excellence Award mimics the Chuck Boone Leadership Award in football and the Dean Ehlers Leadership Award in men's and women's basketball. One student-athlete, who represents the highest standards of teamwork, integrity, leadership, and sportsmanship in his or her academic and athletic achievements, was selected in each of the other sports sponsored by the Conference. Nominees must be at the junior, senior or graduate academic level.

After evaluating the nominees, the CAA's Faculty Athletic Representatives voted on the winners.
