Three Men’s Gymnastics Standouts Earn CSC At-Large Academic All-District Honors

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — After excelling in the gym and the classroom, three William & Mary men's gymnastics standouts were selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) At-Large Academic All-District Team.
 
Mark Fu, Jonathan Irwin and Evan Sikra garnered the distinction. The honor marks the second consecutive year Sikra has earned the accolade.
 
All three standouts were significant contributors for the Tribe this season and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better.  
 
The impressive group highlighted another outstanding year academically for the program, as the team posted a cumulative combined GPA of 3.43 in 2024-25. Additionally, eight men's gymnasts earned W&M's Provost Award for academic excellence.
 
A fixture in the rings and parallel bars lineups, Fu placed seventh on rings in the finals at the USA Gymnastics Collegiate Championship. Additionally, his 2025 campaign was highlighted with a victory on parallel bars at Simpson with a career-high 13.5.
 
Irwin, a team captain, earned All-ECAC honors on rings after placing fifth at the league championship meet with a career-high 13.05.
 
A member of the Tribe's vault and high bar lineups, Sikra posted a career-best on high bar (13.3) at the season opening West Point Open and recorded a season-high 13.8 on vault at Penn State.
