W&M dropped two of three games to Charleston over the weekend. The Tribe got a go-ahead sacrifice fly in the seventh inning of Friday's game to beat the Cougars 5-4. RHP
Carter Lovasz worked a six-out save to seal the victory, while RHP
Jack Weight was credited with the win after tossing a scoreless sixth. CofC responded on Saturday with a 4-2 win before taking the series with a 12-3 decision on Sunday.

Ben Parker recorded his 33th straight game with a hit in the third inning of Sunday's game, breaking the modern-era program record for longest hitting streak (previously held by Ben Guez at 32 games in 2008). The streak is the fourth-longest in CAA history, one behind the record of 34 games held by three different players. Parker is batting .417 this season, which ranks first in the CAA and 14th nationally. He's also fourth in Division I in hits (83), sixth in doubles (22), ninth in total bases (141), and 22nd in runs (61).

Daniel Lingle leads the nation with 27 games pitched. The sophomore has yet to allow an earned run in midweek games this season, holding opponents scoreless over 5.2 innings.

Jerry Barnes III has hits in four straight games since returning to the lineup on April 30. On the defensive side, Barnes has thrown out 14 runners on the base paths, which ranks third in the CAA, despite missing 14 contests.

Zach Boyd has racked up 10 strikeouts in his last two outings. The freshman has a 1.98 ERA with an 11/2 strikeout-to-walk ratio since April 22.
CARDIAC TRIBE
W&M has 15 come-from-behind wins this year out of their 20 total victories. The Tribe has won five games in which they trailed by at least four runs, in addition to three walk-off wins.

- W&M leads the CAA in batting average (.318), which ranks 10th nationally, and paces the conference in hits (522), runs (353), and on-base percentage (.401).
- UTL Derek Holmes is working on a nine-game hitting streak, over which the grad student is batting .425 (17-for-40).
- OF Lucas Carmichael ranks 16th nationally with 75 hits on the season. He's also collected 120 total bases, ranking him 71st in Division I.
