RICHMOND, Va. — William & Mary guard Monet Dance has been named the CAA Co-Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

Dance racked up 14 assists in a pair of victories over Stetson and Bethune-Cookman, averaging 17.0 points per game while committing just one turnover. The junior from Roswell, Ga. dropped 20 points and four dimes in Friday's comeback win at Stetson.

On Saturday, Dance followed up with 10 assists in a 64-52 victory against Bethune-Cookman, tying for the most helpers by a CAA player this season and the most by a member of the Tribe since Eva Hodgson had 10 vs. Charleston on Jan. 12, 2020. She also added 14 points as W&M extended its conference-leading win streak to six games.

Dance is the second W&M player to earn CAA Player of the Week honors, joining Jana Sallman (Dec. 8). She shares the award with India Johnston of Towson.
