Chase Lowe and
Kyle Pulliam were named preseason All-CAA, the league announced on Thursday during the its annual media day. As a team, the Tribe was picked fourth in the preseason poll by vote of the league head coaches.
Lowe, a two-year starter, was one of five players named to the Preseason All-CAA Second Team, while Pulliam, in his second year with the Tribe, was one of seven selected to the honorable mention list.
Lowe has started 52 of his 61 appearances over the last two seasons and owns career averages of 8.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game with a 51.4 career field goal %. Last season, he averaged 8.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. He finished the year ranked fifth in CAA in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.9), 12th in assists, 21st in rebounding, and 23rd in steals. He was one of 55 players in the country and just three in the CAA to average five rebounds, three assists, and a steal per game.
In his first season with the Tribe, Pulliam appeared in 23 games with two starts and ranked third on the team at 9.9 points per game. He also added 2.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. Pulliam scored in double figures in 12 games last season, including a season-high 18 points in the Tribe's 90-75 home win over Charleston on CBS Sports Network.
W&M was picked fourth in the preseason poll as a team, the highest for W&M since it was also fourth in 2018-19. The 2025 CAA regular season champion Towson (136 points and seven first-place votes) was the preseason favorite to win the league just ahead of reigning CAA Tournament Champion UNCW (132 points and five first-place votes). Charleston rounded out the top three with 130 points and the only remaining first-place vote. The Tribe was fourth with 97 points, while Hampton (80) was fifth followed by Monmouth (76), Campbell (75), Northeastern (66), Hofstra (66), Drexel (63), Stony Brook (41), Elon (35), and North Carolina A&T (17).
In its first season under head coach
Brian Earl, the Tribe enjoyed one of the top turnarounds in the country, finishing with a 17-15 record. The 17 wins rank 12th in program history, while the Tribe produced 11 CAA wins for just the fifth time. W&M debuted a new style of play featuring a fast-paced tempo. The Green and Gold ranked among the national leaders in tempo, 3-point shooting, scoring, and assists.
W&M returns seven players from last season, including five seniors in Lowe, Pulliam,
Kyle Frazier,
Miles Hicks, and
Finn Lally. The Tribe added eight players over the off-season, including transfers

Kilian Brockhoff (Saint Louis),
Cade Haskins (Dartmouth),
Jo'el Emanuel (Fairleigh Dickinson),

Towson's Tyler Tejada was the CAA Preseason Player of the Year and joined on the preseason first team by Colby Duggan (Charleston), Cruz Davis (Hofstra), CJ Luster II (UNCW), and Dylan Williamson (Towson). Joining Lowe on the second team was Mister Dean (Charleston), Jack Collins (Monmouth), LA Pratt (Northeastern), and Collin O'Connor (Stony Brook). Along with Pulliam, the honorable mention list included Shane Blakeney (Drexel), Dovydas Butka (Campbell), Nolan Hodge (UNCW), Daniel Johnson (Hampton), Xzavier Long (Hampton), and Noah Ross (UNCW).
The Tribe kicks off the 2025-26 season at home against a Division II opponent in Georgian Court on Monday, Nov. 3. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on FloCollege.
