CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The William & Mary men's gymnastics team placed second at a tri-meet hosted by No. 3 Illinois on Friday evening.
Illinois claimed the team title with a 410.5, while W&M (374.95) and Simpson (363.05) finished second and third, respectively.
Gavin Zborowski highlighted W&M's individual performances by placing second in all-around with a career-high 76.95, while he also led the Tribe on pommel horse with a career-best 13.05.
W&M's top scorers in the other events included:

Ricky Pizem (vault – 14.15; career high);
Alek Kuzmenchuk (parallel bars – 13.3);
