High School / Club
As a four-time member of the Regional Select Team in Region 1, Malcolm enters William & Mary with significant experience in team environments.  Coming from Waller’s Gym Jam, under the direction of Olympian Raj Bhavsar, Malcolm has been a part of first and third-place teams at Junior Olympic Nationals.  Individually, Malcolm has finished as high as fourth on Rings and Floor at JO Nationals.  At William & Mary, Malcolm should contend for positions on Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, and High Bar this year.  With an eye toward studying Public Policy, Malcolm has been deeply involved in his community.  He has served in the Los Angeles Youth Mayor Council, the Young Ambassadors Leadership Academy, the Granada Student Council, and the Black Student Union, as well as founding the Waller’s Gym Jam Volunteer Project.  A well-rounded student-athlete, Malcolm also excels academically, graduating as Valedictorian of Granada Hills Charter High School.
