WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary head men's golf coach Tim Pemberton announced the signings of four players on Monday.

Talon Dingledine, (Midlothian, Va. / Monacan High School) Elijah Felty, (North Chesterfield, Va. / Veritas School) James Gayle, (Bristol, Va. / McCallie School) and Matthew Guy (Baltimore, Md. / St. Paul's School) will join the Tribe as incoming freshmen in the fall of 2025.

"We're thrilled to welcome Eli, James, Matthew, and Talon to our program. This is a large class for us, and these four will have an opportunity to make a significant impact," Pemberton said. "On the course, they've proven they can win at the highest levels.  Most importantly, they're talented students and high-character young men, who will excel in the classroom and be leaders within our campus community and beyond."

Pemberton on Dingledine
"Talon loves to compete.  His game is remarkably well-rounded, and he has that rare ability to get hot and make birdies in bunches.  He's full of talent, brings a ton of junior golf experience, and will elevate our roster from day one.  A natural leader and gifted student, who is full of energy, I expect Talon will help set the pace for our team in the years ahead."

Pemberton on Felty
"Eli is incredibly consistent, manages his game well, and has a great attitude.  He has experience winning on the national stage at junior golf's highest level.  I'm not sure he shot above par during the two months we started closely watching his progress last summer.  He's a tremendous athlete, a great student, excels under pressure, and will be ready to compete when he arrives on campus next fall."

Pemberton on Gayle
"James is the type of player every coach wants.  He's competitive, loves to practice, and leads by example.  A talented ball-striker and great putter, he's won at every level, and his athleticism and work ethic will allow him to flourish in college golf.  Equally gifted in the classroom, James has excelled at the McCallie School, earning several academic honors and serving in many leadership roles.  He will arrive to W&M well-prepared, and we're thrilled to welcome him into our Tribe golf family next fall."

Guy Committed

Matthew Guy (Baltimore, Md. / St. Paul's School)

Pemberton on Guy
-Matthew is a terrific kid, incredibly polite, a team player, and another highly decorated student athlete.  He has an impressive golf swing, generates considerable clubhead speed, hits the ball a mile, and couples that with an elite short game.  He's resilient and mentally tough.  He won the Billy Hurley Invitational this summer, despite battling through an injury the entire month leading up to the event.  He's full of potential, and we have high expectations for what he can accomplish."

The Tribe recently wrapped up their fall season and will kick off their spring season in March.
