Volleyball Adds Five Athletes For 2023 Season

WILLIAMSBURG, VA.- William & Mary volleyball welcomes five players for the 2023 campaign. Amber Jarecki-Meyers, Katherine Arnason, Noelle Foster, Audrey Brcka, and Tulasi Nalluri bring depth and talent to a Tribe team that saw three seniors graduate last year.

Amber Jarecki-Meyers- Amber Jarecki-Meyers is a 6' 2" middle hitter from North Carolina. Meyers played volleyball in the British Virgin Islands and Costa Rica where she lived in her youth. She has earned multiple medals in the open division of high level tournaments such as the Sunshine Qualifier and Big South Qualifier. Her team was one of the top 40 nationally ranked teams from her 16's to 17's seasons. Her high school team, the Chapel Hill Tigers, ended their season deep in the playoffs every year,
earning her multiple all-state awards. Meyers ended her high school career with an impressive .548 hitting percentage, and a 70% kill rate.

Coach Adams on Jarecki-Meyers: Amber has one of the most amazing upbringings with her connection to volleyball and she clearly uses it in her approach to everything she does. Amber is a grinder and has
one of the most lethal arm swings that we saw in the recruiting process. We are excited to see the damage she is going to do this Fall. The middle hitters in our program are going to love adding a personality like Amber's to an already special position group.

Katherine Arnason- Katherine Arnason is a 6' 1" right-side hitter from Mahtomedi, Minnesota that played for both Mahtomedi High School and Kokoro Volleyball. As a senior, Katherine led Mahtomedi through a conference and section championship to the school's first state tournament appearance, and was selected as a member of the Minnesota Class AAA All-State Team. Arnason was also recognized for her athletic and academic success as a member of the AVCA Best and Brightest first team and as an
AAU Academic All-American.

Coach Adams on Arnason: Katherine is not your traditional lefty right-side, as she brings a well-balanced package of athleticism, size, and ball control that is going to make her a force to be reckoned
with. Katherine has a high court IQ that is going to make her a great problem solver on the court. All of these attributes pieced together are going to make Katherine a critical piece in moving the program forward.

Noelle Foster- Noelle Foster is an outside hitter coming in as a graduate transfer from Columbia University. In the 2021 season, Foster was named Second Team All-Ivy League after leading the conference in kills per set and points per set. Foster had 25 kills against Penn, tallying the most in a single game in the Ivy League season. Upon graduating from Columbia, Foster was named The Columbia College Scholar Athlete of the Year. Hailing from Ashburn, VA, Foster attended Stone Bridge High School where she earned first team All-State honors. That year she led her team to a conference championship and state semifinal finish.

Coach Adams on Foster: Tribe Volleyball struck gold having Noelle join our squad. Noelle has had much success in her time in the Ivy League and her character is going to help take our program's culture to new heights. Noelle checked every box in the student-athlete that Tribe Volleyball is looking for and we couldn't be more excited to welcome her into our family. Her prior experience is going to help guide the young members of our roster to success of their own. We are stoked to have Noelle join the Tribe!!

Audrey Brcka- Audrey Brcka is a 6' 0" outside hitter from Wheaton, IL. During her time at Wheaton North High School she was a two-year Dukane All-Conference Player and a part of the AVCA Best and Brightest First Team. She was also honored by the IVCA with All-State Honorable Mention in her junior and senior year. During her time at Sports Performance Volleyball Club she was placed on the JVA Watch List her junior and senior year. Additionally, she was named a 2022 AAU All-Star.

Coach Adams on Brcka: Audrey is somebody who is a silent grinder and is always putting in the work behind the scenes when nobody's looking. She really fits the culture we are building with her humble approach to the game. Audrey has proven that she is a dual threat on both the outside and right side, and can help her team sideout in tough moments. Her physical ability paired with her high court IQ is going to help push our pins to achieve greatness. I am very excited for Audrey's career here at W&M.

Tulasi Nalluri- Tulasi Nalluri is a 5' 8'' libero from Corte Madera, CA. She earned three varsity letters from Presentation and Redwood High school, and competed for Absolute Volleyball Club. As a senior, Nalluri helped Redwood to an undefeated regular season. In her last two years of club volleyball, she went on to compete in the open division of GJNC and finish top-30 in the nation both years.

Coach Adams on Nalluri: Tulasi is going to round out a strong position group with our liberos. The libero unit has some of the hardest working members of our team and Tulasi's work ethic is going to
make her fit right in with the other three in that group. Tulasi has had success at the highest of levels in her high school and club career, and we are excited for Tulasi to bring her winning experiences to the program as we take steps towards greatness.
