WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — After excelling in the gym and the classroom, William & Mary standout women's gymnast
Keaghan Schafer was selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) At-Large Academic All-District Team.
She advances to the CSC At-Large Academic All-America ballot, as the national honorees will be announced this summer.
A two-time All-GEC standout on floor, Schafer also earned all-conference honors on beam and in all-around during her impressive career at W&M. One of the highlights from her senior season was being selected as the GEC Specialist of the Week after posting a career-high 9.875 on floor at Penn.
In addition to earning WCGA Scholastic All-America honors every year of her career, she was also recognized as a GEC Scholar-Athlete and garnered W&M's Provost Award for academic excellence. She earned her undergraduate degree in kinesiology.
