WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – After posting tremendous seasons, William & Mary women's gymnastics standouts
Sarah Wozniak and
Melanie Faulkner earned all-league honors by the Gymnastics East Conference (GEC).
Wozniak earned second-team distinction on bars (9.705), while Faulkner garnered second-team accolades on beam (9.735).
Gymnasts who finished the regular season ranked among the league's top six earned first-team accolades, while those ranked No. 7-12 were named to the second team, including all ties.
W&M will compete at the GEC Championship hosted by Penn on Saturday afternoon.
The Tribe will compete in the first session (noon) with Cornell, West Chester and Southern Connecticut. The second session, which will get underway at 6 p.m., will feature Penn, Yale, Brown and Bridgeport.
The championship meet will be broadcast on
