WILLIAMSBURG, VA. - William & Mary baseball is back at home this week to kick off a four game homestand, beginning Tuesday evening as the Tribe hosts George Washington. The Green and Gold's penultimate non-conference showdown of the regular season is set for a 6:00 p.m. start time at Plumeri Park.

The Tribe has been strong at home all season, entering Tuesday's action with a 17-6 mark, while the Colonials are just 5-12 away from home. William & Mary will be looking for its fifth midweek win in their last six chances. 
 
Tribe starter Nate Knowles has been dominant all season, ranking first in the CAA in opposing batting average, third in ERA, and third in strikeouts. Knowles is first in the CAA and 21st in the nation in hits per nine innings. Knowles has punched out 52 men on the season and 26 over the last 16.2 innings. During that stretch Knowles has surrendered just 10 hits. 
 
Zach Tsakounis has enjoyed a tremendous senior season, adding to what was already a memorable career in the Green and Gold. Tsakounis has tossed 39.2 innings this season and is tied for 20th in program history with 224.2 innings in his career. Tsakounis is top-20 in school history in ERA and batting average against and is having a career-year in both categories. 
 
Carter Lovasz has accumulated five saves on the season and ranks tied for fifth in William & Mary history with 10 career saves. Lovasz tossed a pair of scoreless innings over the weekend and has struck out 18 and walked just three men in his last 17.0 innings pitched. 
 
Jerry Barnes will look to keep his bat hot after a strong weekend. The freshman hit homers on Friday and Saturday evening, and added another hit on Sunday. The first baseman had three extra base hits and three runs to go with four runs batted in on the week.
