WILLIAMSBURG, VA.- William & Mary baseball is back for three games against three opponents this weekend as the Tribe hosts West Virginia, Fairfield, and Canisius at Plumeri Park. Friday's game against the Mountaineers is set for a 3:00 p.m. start time, while Saturday and Sunday will be at 2:00 and 1:00 p.m. respectively. All three games will be broadcast live on Flobaseball.

Plumeri Park has been a friendly venue for the Green and Gold early in the 2023 campaign as the squad has won five of six games in Williamsburg this season. William & Mary was 15-7 at home last year and has compiled a .659 winning percentage in Williamsburg over the past 21 seasons.

Sunday will be a reunion of sorts for coach
Mike McRae as the newest member of the 500-win club will welcome in his former squad. McRae won 405 of his total 501 victories as the head coach of the Canisius Golden Griffins.Â

Daniel Sweeney's pitching staff has been outstanding early this season, ranking first in the CAA and 23rd overall with a 3.02 ERA.

Carter Lovasz, and
Nate Knowles have each appeared in three games and have yet to surrender an earned run this season.
Zach Tsakounis has allowed just one earned over 9.2 innings of work, while
Owen Pierce has allowed two runs over 9.1 innings.Â
