WILLIAMSBURG, VA.- Tribe Baseball continues its six-game homestand Friday afternoon as the Green and Gold welcome in Marist for the first of three ball games at Plumeri Park. William & Mary is 2-3 on the year after splitting home games against Richmond and ODU on Tuesday and Wednesday, while the Foxes will be looking for their first wins of the season.

It will be the first time the Tribe has hosted Marist since sweeping the Red Foxes to kick off the 2019 season. Game times are scheduled for Friday at 3:00 p.m., Saturday at 1:30 p.m., and Sunday featuring a 1:00 p.m. first pitch. All games will be broadcast live on Flobaseball.tv.
Through five games in the young season, the Tribe has featured one of the best pitching staffs in the NCAA. William & Mary starting pitchers have conceded just one run over 18.2 innings pitched and have struck out 17 men over that span.
Overall, the Green and Gold's 2.98 ERA ranks 39th in the NCAA as does the team's 11.5 strikeout per nine inning ratio. The Tribe ranks fifth in the country having struck out 58 men over five games.
Joe Delossantos has hit safely in all five ball games this season and also leads the team with three stolen bases. As a unit, William & Mary ranks tied for 14th in the nation with 10 stolen bags.
Nick Lottchea and
Corey Adams have also hit safely in all four games they have played, and
Ben Williamson had a four-game hitting streak snapped on Wednesday. Williamson is the second-hardest man in baseball to strike out, going down just once in 22 at bats.
