WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The William & Mary women's gymnastics team will host an exciting weekend of action at Kaplan Arena, as it welcomes Bridgeport and Fisk for a pair of dual meets.
W&M will compete against Bridgeport for Senior Day on Saturday at 2 p.m., while it will square off against Fisk for its Pink Meet (Cancer Awareness / Women Empowerment) on Sunday at 2 p.m. Admission to both meets is free.
The Tribe's seniors being honored Saturday include
Sarah Brownstein,
Abby Carpenter,
Amanda Jackson,
Keaghan Schafer and
Emma Wiley.

A live video broadcast, as well as live scores, will be available via
Virtius. Christina Chauvenet and Kevin Copp will provide commentary for Saturday's meet, while Sunday's broadcast team will feature Paris McGee and Aja Sims-Fletcher.

A LOOK AT THE TRIBE
W&M currently ranks sixth in the Gymnastics East Conference with a scoring average of 190.463. The Tribe's best event has been bars where it ranks fifth in the conference with a 47.363. Individually,
Keaghan Schafer currently ranks seventh in the GEC on floor (9.738), while
Caroline Blatchford ranks ninth on beam (9.675).
A pair of W&M gymnasts have earned weekly awards from the GEC this season, as Schafer was honored as the specialist of the Week (Jan. 25) and
Michelle Ngo was selected as newcomer of the week (Feb. 8).

Following this weekend's meets, W&M will return to action when it competes in a quad meet hosted by Towson next Sunday at 1 p.m. In addition to Towson, the competition will feature George Washington and Fisk.
